Love it! Adele nailed it!

I still however would prefer this to be the theme.

Chris Cornell's 'You Know My Name' is still my favorite of the Craig films.

This new one is nice, is sounds like an old school Bond theme, but I'm not going to go out of my way to listen to it.

It will be interesting to see how Adele's song influences the rest of the soundtrack. Cornell's theme added to the tempo of every soundtrack theme that echoed it. Adele's song isn't something that plugs into an action scene.

I love the White Stripes, but Jack's Bond theme sucked.

Yeah the QOS theme sounded like a drunken karaoke duet, ****ing horrible!

IMHO Madonna still holds the honor of worst Bond theme. "Never Say Never Again" is a close 2nd.

I'd forgotten all about Madonna's Die Another Day theme. :monkey4 I'd agree that's probably the worst

Nobody Does it Better is still the best Bond theme song imo.

Adele's sounds ALOT like the world is not enough. Alot.

My favs have to be Russia w/ Love, Goldfinger, YOLT, OHMSS, Live and Let Die, and The Living Daylights.

I still can't help but wonder how fans would percieve things if Dalton had gotten to be in Goldeneye and Pierce hadn't started until TND. I think there would be alot more Dalton fans and alot fewer Brosnans.

Dalton and his Bond films are sooo underrated. I've never understood the appreciation for Brosnan. People give Roger Moore **** for being cheesy, but I thought Brosnan was cheesier. He was definitely a better Remington Steele than Bond imo.

Honestly I think it's nostalgia for the Goldeneye game that attributed a metric **** ton to Pierce's popularity. Goldeneyes a fun Bond but all the others are boring and way, way over the top even by Bond standards.

Dalton got screwed. He was a good Bond in some bad films.

Agreed although the plots aren't awful, the pacing is a huge problem w/ Dalton's films. Goldeneye would have been perfect for him. Still TLD is probably my all time favorite opening.

Agree. I recently saw a bit of Living Daylights and now that I have read a few of the Fleming novels I have to admit he was pretty good. Slightly too volatile (I see Bond a little cooler than that), but still solid. Living Daylights was a fairly good movie (absolutely a huge step up from AVTAK), but I thought License to Kill was terrible--like a bad episode of Miami Vice. :monkey4

And I ardently defend GoldenEye as the best bond film. I thought Brosnan was perfect, and you can really see that he and Martin Campbell were trying to push the franchise to that more gritty, cold realistic Bond like they did with Casino. The fight with Bond and Trevelyan on the satellite is one of the absolute best hand-to-hand fights I have ever seen in any movie. So brutal and painful. LOVE it.

Back to the songs, I'm an unabashed Duran fan so I naturally go with AVTAK as the best theme. I also like Living Daylights, Nobody Does it Better, Live and Let Die, Tomorrow Never Dies and World is Not Enough. I definitely like Adele's song. IMO the best of the Craig Bond themes.
