Dalton was awesome. He did that badass don't **** with me thing that Craig took in with him.

Everyone told me how bad Dalton was. Glad I see they were wrong. He was just different. And perfect after the loony toon Moore stuff.

Craig is still the best for me. Maybe it's he's "My Bond". Like I saw his casting, and first flick in theaters. But man, that movie was just incredible. And it exceeded my expectations. It's still my favorite Bond flick.

QoS, I don't hate it, but all the action was terrible. But I enjoyed the dramatic stuff. I like what Craig is doing with the character. He actually changes by the end. Most Bond flicks rarely ever do. Aside from Pierce's flicks. Which is the main reason why I find TWINE to be not terrible. Pierce actually acts!

QoS fails for several reasons:

1) A Bond villain should never scream like a girl. I understand what they were going for with Dominic Greene, but they failed in execution.
2) It was a revenge flick without the revenge. The whole point was he's out to avenge Vesper. The guy who set Vesper up is the only baddie Bond lets live. WTF?
3) They killed Mathis, one of the coolest supporting characters. They could have used him in more films as they do Felix.
4) The theme song blows.
5) Gemma Arterton is a better actress than Olga Kurylenko. Gemma should have been the leading lady.

I think what makes me mad about QoS is the film is good up to a point and then goes off the rails.

It's still better than any of Moore's films.

What were they going for exactly? I felt they were lashing out at Roman Polansky. :lol

QoS was an absolutely horrible Bond and completely unmemorable. There were several Moore films that were more enjoyable.

I like Craig as Bond (best Bond since Connery and completely different) but so far I see the producers taking the easy route: "Clear and Present Danger" style plots with a "Bourne" style grit and energy. The one thing these and Craig lack is wit and charm. And a good villain. If they can ever get that back, they'll strike gold.

Yeah I love the opening of quantum with the car chase but that's about the only thing I remember about it, went off the rails big time and it annoys me that the Mr White plot thread is just forgotten about.

I think Bardem will be a great villain in this one, top notch actor and he looks creepy as hell with that hair.

I liked the new trailer with the Adele song. The song is really nice.

It appears both these are coming back in Skyfall, I read an interview in which DC said Bond will be a lot funnier in this one. And we all have high hopes for Bardem being a good villain, I think I even rebember reading Sam Mendes saying the same thing about needing a memorable villain.

Though I thought Bond's "I wouldn't dream of it" line in Casino Royale was one of the best lines ever.

Also, love that trailer with Adele's song! I think it's a brilliant song, love the vibe it gives off! I can just picture me sitting in the seat at the cinema with that playing, getting chills. :yess:

I liked QoS much better than Casino Royale.:dunno

I agree Craig lacked wit and charm in CR, but I felt he had it in QoS.

Berenice is on the cover of the Nov 2012 issue of Maxim

Eva Green is uber-hot and can act. I had hoped they would use her in Quantum to tell a flashback story. It would've helped.

This has the potential to be one of the best Bond movies ever.

I've just got a good feeling about this one.

I have a good feeling too. I think that, with 2012 being the 50th anniversary of Bond on film, they have tried to make THE definitive Bond movie here, or at least a movie that celebrates and encapsulates everything that makes a great Bond movie.
