Where's Lois? I'm kind of liking SuperLana, but this episode was sort of all over the place. Notice the director? Allison Mack...

But I miss Lois. and Doomsday.

Yeah, but that season she was a witch had Dean Winche....err I mean Jason Teague in it. Plus it was the 1st season Lois was in. For those 2 reasons alone it kicks ass.

It did indeed, Sam must have been off-screen that season.

Don't know if I like the SuperLana. With the "Prometheus" that they introduced, I totally thought that was going to be Lex's Green Armor. I SOOOOOOO wished it would have been Lex's Green Armor and not SuperLana.

I agree! I thought the next thing you know...Michael Rosenbaum makes his triumphant return as a resurrected Lex Luthor in the Prometheus armor. Now that woulda been cool! What's up with Super Lana? She said basically her and Clark were "equals"? No...I don't think so. Honestly I didn't want to see Lana Lang return to Smallville. I want to see more of the beginning of the relationship with Lois and Clark. Not any more Lana and Clark.

I guess Doomsday is still in his cocoon at the Fortress? No sign of him either tonight. No Lois, Jimmy, or Doomsday.

I'm ready for this show to end already. I hate not knowing when we'll actually get to see a good episode.

I wan't the Lana story line to end! The show was AMAZING this year. Delving into the deeper DCU and having Clark get closer to becoming Superman and loving Lois. Then Lana returned and everything went back to status quo....boring, predictable and overall lacking.

The worst part of the episode is that Lana was forced to make that break up tape (seems to me to be a ret-con and not a preconcieved plot line). That undermined the entire concept of this season! Clark is back to pathetic star eyed lover boy....ARGH.

Sounds like next week Lana will loser her super powers anyway. In the preview she said "Clarck if I touch that kryptonite..." and Clark says "You have to".

The last eposiode was just a set up for the end of Lana... she is only signed up for 4 or 5 episodes this season and she is on ep 3 now, there was an interview on some website few months ago that they were going to wrap Lana up and start on the Lois/Clark releationship once the Lana storyline was done.

I really didn't mind the episode if you look at the larger picture...they need filler episodes, they need to finish up Lana storyline and from what I've read Micheal Rosenboum (sp) isn't going to show up as Lex at least till the last episode of the season. This season has been much better than the last two...people need to give it some time,if they do another season they just have to drag out more storylines.

I'm still hoping Lana turns into the insect queen!

Not sure about Doomsday but I had read that Erica Durance was filming a movie during this season of Smallville and needed about 3 or 4 weeks off.

yeah this ep. threw me too. I like that she could take care of herself but this is taking it too far. I hope they some how get her gone. I want clark to develope a relationship with Lios. Keeping fingers crossed

Pretty good episode. Toyman was pulled off nicely.

Also, I had no problem with Ollie's choice.

He's killed in the comic when it was justified, so in that way it was true to the source material. In his eyes, Lex needed to die...even if it was at least partially motivated by his own need for revenge. But he also wanted to protect those closest to him.

But I still don't think Lex is dead.

And I'm bummed they gave Lois so little to do in the Doomsday story arc (at least so far).

I watched Smallville last night for the first time in about four seasons and I actually really enjoyed it. Kreuk was still annoying me but the SuperLana stuff played better on screen then I would have thought. I'm really liking The Green Arrow in this and really hope we get a spin-off involving ol' Ollie.

I have to say I hate what they've done to Clark. This tragic ending for him and Lana pretty much guarantees he can't get with Lois this season.

However it was done pretty well, this was my favorite Lana episode this season.

Now that she's gone, if we could please just get back to Doomsday, the red/blue blur and Lois...

Yeah getting back to Doomsday and all that will be nice, but I liked the episodes with Lana back in it. Too bad there wasn't a new episode tonight.

I'm ready for the Doomsday story to pick back up, and see Lois and Jimmy again. I dreaded Lana Lang coming back. The "SuperLana" thing was wrong in my eyes. But I guess if Lex got the power suit, then he'd take over the world, and the show would be over? I dunno. No...then Clark would really have to FINALLY become SUPERMAN! I'd love to see that. At least in the last episode of the series.

I liked it. And glad they finally ended the Lana and Clark story. At least we know they can't revisit it. I don't know about her running around with powers, but whatever. I'm glad they finally addresse Chloe's little "secret" what she did to keep Clark safe. I feel like the show has really stepped up this season. Really hoping for one more season.

IMO there was no real reason to bring Lana back at all. I was very happy with her "I left so you could be the hero you have to be" story line. In any case, glad that she is finally gone! I just wish they had killed her off as opposed to given her super-powers and ability to kill Clark.

Please...for the love of God PLEASE...no mind controlled Lana coming back to take on Superman!!!
