Statue Snow Troll Statue

Got this pre-ordered from my local store. They were offering layby payment scheme (much like SS's FlexPay), but the difference is you can already start paying whenever you're able to. I now have only $80 left to pay in full, and they offer free shipping domestic. So can't wait to have this as well.

Yeah as much as I wanted this the dwarf was the deal breaker for me, but its still freaking bad ass.

dorf was what made me not get it too, the details on the troll is nice tho'. hope they make a 1:4 scale version someday san dorf.

IMO nothing. He's the proper scale for this statue and this troll is in the same scale as the original cave troll. Keeping a character like the dwarf in scale with the statue goes back to the battle troll statue.

Yah.. Wish it had a switch out hand (without dwalf) as an option. I thought it looked a little stiff. That is one of the reasons why I decide to cancel it.

If this gets any screen time in the Hobbit many will be kicking themselves...either way still a great majestic piece like the Cave Troll of old

I may have got it then. From what the sculptor said it was the licencee (game creator) that stipulated the dorf be included. I think the sculptor also voiced that he preferred it without. His sculpt is top notch tho'. I really hope it's the same sculptor for the 1:4 version of any troll!

The Snow Troll is the same sculptor that did the Hulk PF & Batman PF..... Andy Bergholtz.
