That would be fine with me ; ) The bigger the better. If they can do Galactus, then they can do a 1:4 troll.

In the meantime, this won't fit in my collection next to the 1:4 scale PF display. It's ok tho' don't want it looking too cluttered anyways.

Correct, that's a fact 100% and it would be a $2000 piece IMHO if they did

yeah I mean when i say the dwarf was the deal breaker I dont mean it in a bad way. I would just have prefered him with an open hand or maybe a clenched fist. To me his pose is awesome and the details on him are fantastic so imo the dwarf just takes away from him.

To each his own I think with this one. The dwarf to me when I saw it just added to the piece. Plus it reminded me of the game and having that happen. I really hoping we get a notice soon on this guy.

I may have got it then. From what the sculptor said it was the licencee (game creator) that stipulated the dorf be included. I think the sculptor also voiced that he preferred it without. His sculpt is top notch tho'. I really hope it's the same sculptor for the 1:4 version of any troll!

As a point of useless information. "Dorf" was a character made up by an American comedian named Tim Conway a fair ways back when we lived in a much less politically correct world and it wasn't quite the faux pas that it is today to make fun of "little people". Conway was of normal stature and he did a number of videos impersonating a dwarf. His assistants would bury him up to his knees in the ground and put fake shoes where his knees should have been. They were careful to remove all evidence of the hole he was in so he looked like a somewhat large sized little person with very short legs. There were several videos made of him playing various sports like golf, baseball etc., the joke being that he was able to lean in various directions so far that he could almost touch the ground without falling over, just like a cartoon character. It was a pretty good sight gag but I'm afraid it wouldn't go over very well these days. Gimli, he's not.

Interesting, we've been shortforming dwarf into dorf since the D&D days decades ago which extended into WAR2, War3, WoW, GW etc..... : ) Good instance of parallel evolution.

...Abomination is 16'8" Tall. A Cave Troll is 12-17' Tall. The Abomination PF was only wearing underwear, so why not a Cave Troll with a loin cloth?

If Sideshow can make an Abomination PF a Cave Troll PF is definitely doable! ...

the cave troll lsb has already been done. so the choices are narrowed down to either a diorama or a premium format. it's a win-win situation guys!
