Can't really argue with that joblain.
The Snow Troll looks a really nice piece, but if it is a choice of either/or, then I think you are making the right choice.

I did. I had $150 in RP saved when I ordered it (back when it came out) so I was able to cut down to $175 before shipping.

I'm thinking of cancelling my order as well. Too many things have come out/been revealed that excite me so much that I realize this piece doesn't really do it for me anymore.
When I saw Batman, Ivy, Malgus, Baby Doll, and Shaak TI, they ruined other pieces for me.
I know I could technically get them all since this won't encroach on those releases, but meh.
I think I'll save myself some money where I can...

A friend of mine put himself on the wait list 4 days ago...He called me last night and said he just got one...shows not too many guys on that waitlist...this will in my opinion kick ass....It would be interesting in the upcoming Hobbit films if there was mention of hard times in the North(Iron Hills for Ex) from their exile from Moria as well as Erebor and showed footage of Snow Troll and Dwarf...it would just kick ass...I think they can do it and make it a possibility...I hope...LOL...The value of this would climb that's for sure...just dreaming and thinking out loud
I would cancel other pieces for this so in a way I understand the thinking. IMO with this being a single run statue and an ES of only 500 it has the chance to in the long term be cave troll like in demand. It's also a piece that I think aimed at die-hard lotr collectors and folks who loved the game.

You're right Josh, but barad dur put a nail in my wallet. It's 300$ over what I thought. I hope barad dur deserve the price that it costs. And I hope the snow troll is not in the hobbit movies or I'll knock my head on the wall for days.
