I never followed Thor in the books so this will be all new to me. Considering how Iron Man 2 left off with the Thor tie in, it better be good! Can't have my IM franchise dragged down

Movie Version Hammer!!!
I can't believe one of the major prop replica companies isn't going to make the movie version Mjolnir. Are the only available movie hammers the toy versions from Hasbro?
Factory X, Diamond Select and Museum Replicas have made Mjolnirs in the past. Are one of these not doing the movie hammer? What about Sideshow?
Could it be a licensing issue? If not, seems to me that this would be a GOLDMINE for some company right now.
Why oh why....

Totally agree. If the movies turn out good for Thor and Cap you can expect someone to capitalize on it and release the hammer and shield.

MR made the Ultimate comics one, FX DS and SS made the classic versions. I posted a while back asking about who might be making the movie one but seems as of yet no one is letting that news out.
SS made the best version of the classic, the heads from all 3 companies were the same, but SS added some details to it and has the best handle.

There wll be loads of cheapo replicas rest assured. But it remains to be seen whether someone will do a real quality hero version of the movie replica or maybe even a full on carbon steel version that I can go all DIY handyman crazy around the house with it.

Both were made my Museum Replicas but Sideshow sold that hammer through it's website.
Both are ____ in my opinion. Museum Replicas doesn't care about accuracy. Look at their Iron Man helmet! No use of digital files, no where near accurate and no LED lights in the eye.
