Re: Han Solo: A Star Wars Story (May 25th, 2018)

Whenever I watch TDK I can't help but think how much more impact Rachel's death would have had if it were Holmes. So dumb that she had to go out and get locked in for whatever forgettable romantic comedy that was shooting at the same time as TDK.

Re: Han Solo: A Star Wars Story (May 25th, 2018)

Because it's annoying, obnoxious and unoriginal. These "A Star Wars Story" movies like Rogue One and this thing will never be "fun" like Star Wars used to be. Just an imitation, a knock off.

Man, you sound old.

Pretty much anything and everything from the start wars universe has been "fun". Even if a crappy story, they've been "fun".

Re: Han Solo: A Star Wars Story (May 25th, 2018)

It's like the concept of "fun" is totally lost on some people.

The usual SSF suspects and professional wet blankets who don't like fun...

I'm that Star Wars fan that likes all of the saga, and any new entries. I can't wait for this.

Probably. I'm not 6 years old anymore.

So that's the fun of modern day Star Wars. :lol

Yo, YoNoSe, are you having an identity crisis? What's with the profile man.

We'll see. At least he got to be a part of the last generation to experience Harrison Ford on the big screen as Han before Aaron what's his name takes over.

Re: Han Solo: A Star Wars Story (May 25th, 2018)

Why'd you delete your post YoNoSe? I was going to say I only know the new guy from that Twilight-ish movie Beautiful Creatures. I'm fine with him and the new Lando.

I would indeed have skipped the movie on principle if they gave the role to that ****** Miles Tellar.

They should have gotten a similar looking actress. The best recasting I've seen in a film is the girl from BTTF. Maybe it's because I've never seen BTTF and BTTF2 back to back, but I didn't know it was a different actress until a few years ago. I didn't noticed the change for almost 20 years :slap

Re: Han Solo: A Star Wars Story (May 25th, 2018)

I was very familiar with Elisabeth Shue from The Karate Kid and Adventures in Babysitting so seeing her in BTTF 2 was just as bad as Maggie in TDK for me.

Re: Han Solo: A Star Wars Story (May 25th, 2018)

It helped that they reshot the whole last scene of BTTF for BTTF2, made it much more smooth a transition.

Re: Han Solo: A Star Wars Story (May 25th, 2018)

Emilia Clarke is going to be the female lead... I was hoping for Zoe or Tessa. Oh well.
