It may come to that but I'm not the defeatist type. If MLK was a defeatist there would've been no Civil Rights Act. The woman's movement would've failed. The Vietnam War would've continued for many more years. The masses wouldn't have compelled FDR to enact The New Deal, and so on. I know it's just fiction but you get the point.
