Yes. Will make no sense to anyone who hasn't watched TCW.



Solo continues the trend of fan service, callbacks and excessive backgrounding. It checks off numerous Solo-isms:


  • Gold dice? Check
  • Holographic chess? Check
  • Han meets Chewie? Check
  • Han meets Lando? Check
  • Chewie pulls arms out of sockets? Check
  • Kessel Run in less than 12 parsecs? Check
  • Han wins Falcon in a game of Sabacc? Check

Actually makes perfect sense if you watched the Clone Wars cartoon. Maul became a crime lord for awhile. And since Han and his gang are smugglers, actually makes perfect sense they'd run into him or give him a small surprise cameo rather that Jabba which everyone was/is expecting..

And it is true. I saw a pic unfortunately. He is a hologram message probably at the end or something.

Lando will literally put his ***** in anything. So that's now the character's defining trait. The droid ****er. Can't wait to see other major characters get the KK touch. Look out Obi Wan and Boba Fett.

Honestly... I wish they would have gone with the groan-inducing Jabba and/or Greedo cameo now.

Frankly, I still can't believe it. Just seems so horribly misguided (not to mention how it gets into all kinds of EU nonsense given he'd have to have torso stitches.)

No insult to the show at all, but the Clone Wars cartoon is about a million miles from the movies to me, so I have no idea why they'd use that as a justification. That choice alone places the whole movie under suspicion for me.
