Had never heard of him but just googled him. I am surprised they've taken a character from old 'not canon' EU.

When they rebooted the canon they reserved the right to borrow the best bits from the EU. Ergo, Thrawn (and "Kyber" crystals for that matter, though they may already have been "canonised")

Harrison Ford was aboard a small plane that landed on a taxiway of a California airport, flying directly over a waiting American Airlines 737, federal officials said.


The Federal Aviation Administration, which has not identified who was piloting the plane, is investigating this incident.


According to the FAA, the actor's Aviat Husky single-engine propellor plane was cleared to land on Runway 20L at John Wayne Airport in Orange County, Monday afternoon. The FAA said the pilot repeated the approved landing clearance back to the air traffic controller.

"The pilot then landed on a taxiway that runs parallel to the runway, overflying a Boeing 737 that was holding short of the runway," the FAA said in a statement.

When questioned the pilot of the private craft (who reportedly hadn't shaved in months) expressed feeling a little "jittery" for flying so close to a large 737 but kept his course on account of the famous movie star stating "It'll work, it'll work."

In the end a little optimism won the day.

Yeah the timing is great isn't it? Alden looks great as Han and Donald Glover is a fantastic choice for Lando. I can't wait!

Every single SW movie that's been released so far I've had a vested interest in them "getting it right." Not so for this movie. To me it's a completely separate reboot and therefore is a clean slate as far as I'm concerned. So they can go hog wild and do whatever they want, I'm game! Cast looks surprisingly good so far.

Maybe it'll be a Keaton/Bale thing where both Han Solos can be enjoyed separately.

Out of all the people in that pic, he seems to be the only one with some charisma, so that's good.

He also looks older than his age, so that's nice.

Doesn't look like Ford though.
