Much like Thanos with Gamora, Kathleen loved SW in her own way; but in the end she had to sacrifice it to further her tunnel vision agenda. And when the moment came, in an instant, half the fan base no longer existed.

I’m sure she’ll be watching the sunrise on whatever planet she comes from and will rest easy feeling she did the right thing.

I'm not so interested in how she'll do or how she's feeling, I'm more interested in who will be replacing her.

Yes, Disney could do worse, absolutely.

Likely they do.

I bet their movie would have been terrible but I wonder if it would have 'connected' better with audiences?

'A Ron Howard film' has zero appeal for anyone.

Well by the word of mouth, Solo is a quality film.

It's just no one give a **** about it.

Well I for one thought it was...

The RT audience score would tend to suggest the same. The recurring theme seems to be “not terrible but not great”, which is about as lukewarm as it gets.

Yeah, a good friend of mine who also loves Rogue One didn't care for Solo at all.

It's definitely a movie that didn't need to get made. But I did enjoy it. 2nd best Disney Star Wars so far.

Really surprised about the Kennedy departure thing - if she leaves in the next month she was shoved out the door by Disney security as Bob Iger smirked and waved bye-bye. It's shareholder eye candy but they should have let her stay until EpIX was a few months away, at least have the whiff of "circle is complete."

Well I don't see any SW logos or Ewoks branded anywhere on his underwear, so it's definitely not him.
