Go otto, you poor *******..............:panic:

Jeez, I felt so bad for that guy.

Though I wasn't expecting Toric to go out so early. I thought he'd narrowly avoid capture/death/being found out a few more times. . . to really savor when he finally bites it.

But, I'm glad that Otto is no longer suffering.

Jax is becoming very unlikeable. I guess that's the point, but it's getting harder and harder to empathize with him.

That was almost on par with Otto taking out Stahl.

Apart from the war with the Irish I don't know what else will happen next. I f---ing love that.

.

After seeing Kurt Sutter's tweets about how there will be "no unearned mercy" and that he "hopes people continue to at least finish the season after watching", I was expecting a good episode.

I was not disappointed. This was a great episode. I didn't expect to see Toric go out so soon but that will definitely make this season much more interesting. I'm so happy Tig is still in the picture too, but man, poor Phil.

I like that Phil took two crates. :lol

Did anyone else find it really jarring when Chibs walked into the barn he had a huge smile on his face, given what they found waiting for them in there? Took me right out of the moment and seemed really odd...

He was grimacing. The scar on his cheek made it look like a grin.

I don't think Phil took two crates because of his size. They just weren't big crates. One each for the torsos and the other for the limbs. I doubt they would make it seem like a joke.

Considering they'd been promoting a post-show Q&A with Kim Cotes, I was sure Tig was gonna bite it. I think next week Tommy Flanagan has the Q&A, soooo they're just gonna keep people guessing.

There was some promo I saw somewhere that said next week has one of the most shocking moments of the series. . . Though I remember last year, culminating with Opie's death, the season started off with a lot of "shocking moments"

I'm surprised Tig has survived this long. Kinda crazy though that's there's only 5 guys left in SAMCRO, I guess Ratboy ought to get patched in soon.

Charming is the original charter. I'f you're an SoA member that means a lot. I would have thought there would be club members in other cities and states wanting to transfer in. It shouldn't be that hard to fill out the ranks.

Also - they patched over the Nomads. There seemed to be ~20 -30 guys there. "Jax should be able to pick up the phone and tell a few "get your *** up here".

Kinda sounds like Tig got a pass. Think Sutter's saving it for next season?

I'm getting the feeling they don't want to be associated with Redwood. With SoCal turning down the guns, and Bobby looking to make his own charter, I can see things getting a lot harder for Jax.

I think Tig had to bargain his way out of that warehouse. Perhaps he's a spy for Pope Corp.

I dunno, Jax asked August if it was a test, and August said it was. Since the beef isn't personal and August is looking to branch out from the Niners with "Marks Enterprises," I can see Tig getting a delay. Especially with a lucrative gun deal on the table.

Perhaps. All of the remaining SAMCRO have reasons not to trust each other. There's a moment last ep where Tig and Chibs are standing together, I have a feeling they're the most important players to keep an eye on this season.

I think the scene with San Bernadino Prez was supposed to demonstrate that each charter is out for themselves. I'm not sure of the protocol, but I don't think members leave their charter to join another. I think they just go nomad. I think SAMCRO could patch over another charter, like they did with Indian Hills, but that doesn't mean those members move to Charming.

The nomad charter closed up prior to Season 5, that's why they all patched in to SAMCRO. Of course, all those guys are dead now, so there's no nomads to patch in. Obviously, Bobby's new nomad charter is not going to jump to SAMCRO's aid.

I think this whole season is to set up the idea that Jax isn't the savior of SAMCRO that he wants to be. The club has been decimated under his watch. Rebuilding it shouldn't be as easy as holding a casting call.

Looking at the overall arc of the series and considering next season is the last, I wouldn't be surprised to see the show mirror The Shield in that Jax gets what he wants, SAMCRO out of guns and fully legit, but at what cost? He loses his wife and sons, most of his friends are dead. All SAMCRO is is a bunch of bikers who fix cars. Which I think is what JT wanted, but the reality of that life is maybe not what Jax wants.

It's Hamlet, despite being so far from the source now :)lol), Jax'll die.

:lecture

Marshall Willie is no longer able to offer Tara (or Clay) a plea. She's heading to jail, probably at the end of the season. This will probably drive her to suicide.

If this happens then Sutter is still following the structure of Hamlet for the final season.

Pretty awesome article trying to predict the final outcome based on Hamlet.

Well hell, there aren't that many of them left. SAMCRO used to have a huge roster. Apparently Kevin from Shameless is also apart of Sons.

I vote that it was a grimace.

Also, as a bit of BTS info, Sutter acknowledged that Toric was killed earlier than he had wanted as Donal Logue's filming schedule for his other show was unexpectedly re-arranged, so they had to accelerate Toric's demise.

I'd imagine if Toric was going to offer Tara a plea, perhaps it will be the new DA that will be offering the deal. I doubt it would modify the storyline that much.
