............Marvel/Comic Book Fans everywhere had long dreamed for a dark horror toned Fantastic Four movie... Trank was a visionary ahead of his time. One day everyone will look back at his genius and realize we were the wrong and delusional ones for bashing such a well made and conceived movie. It will become the biggest cult classic of all time. And we will all finally get that sequel we never even realized we wanted, just in time for FOX to renew their license and hold onto their F4 rights. Most [dumb] people went into Trank's FF to bash it. It was the most pirated movie that year because nobody wanted to spend money on it believing the bull**** hype that it was an awful movie.

The movie isn't bad but rather just suffers from a terrible third act (the studio re-shot to replace Trank's with). The theatrical cut is a 7/10 at the lowest. Whenever I hear something under that I know its a bull**** opinion from someone who watched it to bash it.

No the movie was utter crap. Doom? Are you kidding me? The thing and Richards being like children. Horrible dialogue. People saw it to see how bad it is.

It's just the whole.... da mcu is bad and everybody who doesn't like these crap movies follows the mcu faithfully and praises antman like a saint. Hell no. Marvel ain't perfect but they have entertaining movies. Fant4stic was a movie made with zero love behind it and just a movie made to hold on to the rights.

The studio wanted to put a big avengers type battle at the end. It's not a misunderstood movie.... it's just utter garbage lol.

Negative opinions regarding the validity of these proposed SONY Spider-verse films became nonsensical the moment Academy Award Nominee Tom Hardy (who turned down X-Men: Apocalypse, Suicide Squad and Kingsman: The Golden Circle) agreed to lead Venom.

Its gonna get harder and harder for people trying to bash these films to sound anything but ridiculous as more and more stellar talent signs on for them.

*If the Gyllenhaal Ben Reilly/older Peter Parker rumors are true, I see the aforementioned SONY haters throwing themselves off a high building.

Homecoming is 100% an MCU production (aka a Feige venture). Pretty much all the calls on that movie were made by the Disney/Marvel suits.

SONY may have wrecked ASM2 creatively but they would have never made Parker a character so reliant thematically and publicity-wise on Tony Stark.

My guess is the reason the deal between SONY and Marvel Studios seems to have gone to **** is that SONY isn't happy with what Feige did with the character(s) on this reboot.

I wouldn't be surprised if Homecoming doesn't get a sequel. They might just finish out Holland's contract Hulk-style by putting the MCU Spidey in Avengers 4 or some other solo film like Captain Marvel or Doctor Strange 2.

He's def a possibility now that Scarlet Spider is the rumored solo film to follow Silver and Black and Maximum Carnage is the rumored crossover film that brings everyone together and brings the older Parker out of retirement. They're clearly delving into all the lore [Raimi and] Disney were never going to touch with an R-rating to give it all teeth.

So, uh, these are not, like, predictions. They're uh, conclusions that you arrived to using sound data, evidence and by doing lots of research... Like, Gyllenhaal being the Scarlet Spider, Maximum Carnage, all stuff that have been hitting the net for a long time now... Hell, you even know they're clearly diving into the lore! The R-Lore! Which goes against your "muh source material" code, since Spider-Man was never R... Jee weez lad!
