I'm so, so sorry for you having to see this appalling thread love.

As I said before I'm rather amazed that things had been allowed to escalate as they did. The fact that nobody saw anything wrong in calling someones work such hateful things, and that they don't seem to understand the different between criting something, and just being distasteful, still amazes me quite frankly.

I can only say I personally understand where your coming from in this, and I hope that maybe you'll reconsider coming back here someday.

You know I admire your work, and I know that you have a lot of fans elsewhere, so don't let ignorant, childish remarks get you down.

yah, but being called sick, twisted and obscene isnt something i get all happy and tingly about

also, different reviews? are you ****ting me. Ive counted about 4-5 quite positive comments. the other 5 and a half pages are just pure bashing.

Also thanks Sue and Browncoat. At least there are some people here who dont get off on bashing someone

Joking yes bashing no. Well I will give you some comments but again as an artist you have to expect this. Especially with controversial subject matter. I apologize whole heartedly if I offended you.

how is this considered a joke?
calling the lowest of the low doesnt seem like a joke.
if it is, maybe im missing something. because im not laughing
this whole thread has grown purely to offend and bash the creator

I have to shall have to call you on this. So when is someone using the words 'obscene and perverted' acceptable terms when judging another's work.

If this had been two women togther would it have got the same kind of flak?

If there are any mods out there, who are meant to be bothering with this section of the forum, I would suggest locking this thread before things get even more out of hand and unpleasant. Thanks

Maybe I missed that comment. I will have to go back and re-read it. Again though with this subject matter you could easily offend someone as much as you are offended by reading some of the comments. I for one am not offended by it. Some people are more conservative than others. Again sorry you are this mad.

To some people this is obcene and perverted. They have every right to call it that if that is their beliefs. However, that being said bashing the artist is not cool.

come on. i was very careful to cover their bits, theres nothing pornographic about it. theres no connotations that they had sex. they could have just played... theres customisers out there who sculpt EVERYTHING.

but why did the twit who started this thread, have to start it? they could have seen it. got disgusted and moved on. but no.

As for the "lowest of the low" comment, I believe that was in deference to "slash fiction" as a genre and not this piece in particular. I would like to think that most of the members of this board are open-minded and respect an artist for his work; it is only a few who constantly feel the need to "pound their chest" because they feel threatened and are immature.

People familiar with the thread's author know this right away, but I see how an outsider could take it wrong.

just like when you called this forum narrow-minded, you just called 2671 users narrow-minded even though you really only meant the few who have been poking fun at your piece.

Right I'm going to try and 'dump' this side of the forum, and move away from the computer for a while. I cannot believe what been allowed to carry on here, and the fact that some folks are so happy with whats been said.

Yes, I suppose the difference is for me, is that I'm that rare breed on here, a grown up women, rather then a bloke which is the 'norm', basically on a board where men collect dolls and toys. *g* But what I've seen today really hasn't sat well with me I'm afraid.

and i assure you. i wont be getting this type of reaction again. because i wont be posting anymore of my work on here.
