Speculation: Hot Toys "Solo" Movie Figures

I'm in for Han, Lando, Chewi, Qi'ra, L3-37, Mud trooper, Range Trooper, Enfyst Nest. Possibly Beckett and Val depending on how they come across in the movie.

Hopefully HT will nail Clark's likeness so I can get an extra head to have modded into a replacement for the ThreeZero Dany.

You'll need a bigger body too, just the head will be out of scale. That 3z Dany is so tiny compared to the HT females.

The more I see about this movie, the more I think (if it's a success) they could easily make another one or two with Han, Chewie and Lando.

They have a couple of the cast signed for 3 movies. Doesn't mean they will make them, but they certainly could if they're well received.

Xmas 2020? If this movie produces an uptick for the Chinese BO, I would say a sequel is a lock.

Yeah, I noticed on one of the Hasbro figures Chewie had a lot more black on him (I guess making him different for a younger look ??). Although in the movie he didn't look terribly different to ANH. However I may need to look again more closely.

I'd only get Chewie if he was a potential upgrade to the ANH version. I know the Bandolier is different, but maybe that can be modded ??

Anyway, hope we get a couple of figures announced soon. I guess they'll lead with one of the troopers then Han or Chewie.

I expect to see a Solo Hot Toy reveal in the coming days. I expect it will be a trooper.

Possibly the Range though that looks the most complex of them. The Patrol one looks good and would be easier to produce.

Those 2 plus Qi-ra are all that interest me currently. Unless the film is magnificent.

I do want a Lando desperately. But a BDW one! Skiff or Bespin ideally. I would be gutted if the first Lando by Hot Toys is of Glover.

Looking at that Range Trooper, they've definitely re-purposed the Rogue One Tank Trooper helmet, but with a different dome. Also plenty of other similar parts in there from other Troopers.

I'd say we'll get him first too. He seems to be the most advertised trooper of all of them. Especially for toys.

I wasn't thinking of picking up anything from this film figure-wise...until I saw the trailer! If HT get them right, I can see me picking up Han and Lando at the very least.

Hasbro has a Han in disguise figure. Looks like he is disguised as a Mud Trooper. Gives me hope that a HTs Mud Trooper maybe made. I really want all 4 troopers lol.

HT Range trooper will be epic.

Does anyone else think they will also offer Billy Dee and Harrison sculpts with their Solo Lando and Han figures? Would vastly increase sales.

Really like the Tank Trooper helmet on the Rangetroopers...

...but if regular grunt Stormtroopers can go into the cold vacuum of space, then why do specialized Rangetroopers need fur?

I'd say there is a pretty good chance of that. Although I'd guess they will release OT (ESB) Han and Lando after Solo so as not to cannibalise Solo sales.

SDCC should be pretty good this year I hope !

Ha, that's an awesome comparison pic !

It's actually pretty cool having some relatively close design features between R1 and Solo, as they are are not that far away from each other as far as timeline goes.
