The dio looks awesome, but not quite my tastes. It's the black statue that really gets me, I'm just having a hard time between the SS's and MR's. Gotta love the price on the sideshow one though. And I'd get the regular suited one in a heartbeat if I didn't have the PF already. If not for the movie name being on the base it would prolly look really nice with the Venom, despite the scale difference.

They both have their strong points, the MR has: a much cooler base and backdrop - you can't beat that mirrored look; SS: the sculpt might be a bit more intricate, though I don't know if I care so much for the head position.

If I were to get one black Spidey it would be the MR version; and the nameplate looks removeable, but if not, it is rather small.

IMO all of them look amazing.

I like the Spidey stuff but I feel that they are over doing it with the releases....

I only want to buy one SM3 poly due to space but i cant decide which. Spidey statue is classic and very affordable, but I love the Dio. Very dynamic, still the price is a whopper in comparison.

I think the Venom is the best of the statues, but I just can't throw down on these. I prefer toys in the end to statues.

Dark Shadow sold out of both Spidey statues.

I think the Frodo/Gollum, Ani/Obi and this diorama are getting some mixed reviews considering the price point and execution of some of them. The lack of an exclusive for them also doesn't help their popularity.

I agree with you about the diorama.

I'm also very tempted by the Black Suited Spider-Man statue, it's certainly the best of the three new releases IMHO.
