Those pics are from medicoms site....I don't understand how medicoms photos always make the figure look 20 times better than sideshows photos.....if venom really looks this good when he is released, then I will get him

Medicoms pics are usually accurate to the in hand product too.

I don't know guys, am I the only one not impressed by these movie figs? Venom looks pretty bad to me and I really don't care for the material that they went with for all of their costumes. Comic versions are the ones to get and since I have most of those I will probably cancel these guys. Am I alone in these thoughts?

When it comes to Venom being bad, yes. I had the comic version, and believe me, it was very bland. I like the Movie version since he looks a lot more menacing than the 'smiley face' comic version. However, from the pics Ive seen, the Comic Spidey's beat the pants off the Movie versions!

I concur the comic Vemon was bland - Great figure though, just on the bland side of the spectrum.

I can't wait for this Movie now! 2 weeks from today in Australia... Am also hungry for the figures have all three coming.

not sure what was expected of the comic venom? It is what it was intended to portray. You cant really get very far with just an all black character with white highlights...

I agree Nash, all the Marvel movies have given the characters "overhauls" in the costume department. It only inhances the "realism" of it all, if that makes any sence.

I concur the comic Vemon was bland - Great figure though, just on the bland side of the spectrum.

I actually got the comic Venom this week - I'm actually pretty impressed with it. Of course I used the large claw hands and the mouth open head to make it a bit more dynamic and I do concur with others who've said - what more could you expect ? Its exactly accurate to the comic book.

The huge boots on the original Spiderman though.... don't get me started ;p

I'm also thinking of getting it to go with the Spider-Man I have. I like to have Villian for the hero to be display with. I'd have to give him the Heel lift to get him on the same height/scale... I've seen it done before somewhere on the Medicom boards.
