Re: Hot Toys - MMS - Captain America: Civil War - Spider-Man Collectible Figure
I don't respect him at all. Whenever anything positive gets posted he comes in and ****s all over it, stripping it of all fun and joy. He's too serious and a major downer on the boards.
Right. Always a downer. Except most of my "arguments" are when someone trashes a product and I disagree. But that makes me the negative one, Becuase I disagree.
Also, the last three major discussions where when I answered a direct question. And the issue in this thread I was spot on. And my first few posts where a few words long. It had to get longer Becuase the point wasn't getting across. Even after posting the best proof you can have. Direct quotes from the company CEO.
Go look at the mk45 section. I spent two hole days posting pictures based on multiple requests. But yeah, all negative. And anytime I get into a discusion or disagreement five people gotta chime in with the personal attacks ("the inside source" or the "essay" posts. Or the always serious complaints.)
And despite how many people post that they don't like the information I share I get dozens of PMs a week about how people do like it.
As for me being "wrong" or posting inaccurate info...sure, I'm not always right. No one is. Not even the company CEO from hot toys is right about what the company has planned or is doing and is wrong. Stuff happens. But the vast majority of my statements about how things are, or what's going on behind the scenes, or what may be coming is based on things from people at the companies, or my personal experience working in the same industry, or contracts ect...and not my own personal wants or likes.
As for my industry not being toy production...that's where your wrong. It is what my family does. Personally I'm not working directly in toys right now, but I spent 15 years working for my father doing just that. And he still is. And given I get a lot of my info directly from sideshow employees and hot toys employees and factory workers in mainland China. It's not a sense of entitlement, it's just from a place of experience.
