Might be awhile since he was a very late addition to the film.

Yeah, I'm getting that feeling. I've just sold my amazing spiderman 2 so I can buy this. My collection looks wrong without a spiderman in it haha

Yeah, those horrible people that suck the fun out of collecting by thinking you should be correct. What a bunch of jerks. I mean, when someone asks a question and gets a flat wrong answer it would be so so much more fun to let everyone continue spreading incorrect rumors. Oh the humanity.

Nah it's more the constant attitude you have (or at least seem to portray) that is dull.

Re: Hot Toys - MMS - Captain America: Civil War - Spider-Man Collectible Figure

Yeah, yeah... Everyone hates Motux. That gets old too. He is straightforward and sometimes argumentative, but I can respect the fact he says what he thinks. Half the time several other members say a personal insult or snide remarks with each other like they're at the cool table in the lunchroom. You can't expect him not to get mad, anyone would when it turns personal. Takes two (or more) to argue.

Re: Hot Toys - MMS - Captain America: Civil War - Spider-Man Collectible Figure

I don't respect him at all. Whenever anything positive gets posted he comes in and ****s all over it, stripping it of all fun and joy. He's too serious and a major downer on the boards.

Re: Hot Toys - MMS - Captain America: Civil War - Spider-Man Collectible Figure

I like Motuxmen. *shrugs*. His posts are informative. He's opinionated but I never sense he's a Debbie downer. He's big on facts and basing things on previous history but that doesn't mean he's necessarily negative. I think people are too hard on him.

Scarlet Witch had already been heavily teased so she was always gonna get officially revealed first.

I won't deny he has information. But often times his information can be false and misleading. When proven wrong he gets extremely salty. his replies and the logic behind them are an incoherent mess because he's just rambling on, grasping at straws to prove his already flawed points. and he won't quit until the person that's "challenging" him drops the subject due to exhaustion. He "MAY" sound like he knows what goes on in toy production and gets EXTREMELY opinionated, which leads to many of his condescending posts...but that's due to some misplaced sense of entitlement because he feels the line of work he and his family are involved in give him authority on toy production...but that couldn't be further from the truth because his line of work IS NOT TOY PRODUCTION. He doesn't know what truly goes on. He may have information or an idea. But no. He DOES NOT know what truly goes on. It's that attitude I find most irritating.

It'd be wise to take anything he says with massive grains of salt. At times he's ok. But when anything negative as well as CONSTRUCTIVE criticism of HT as a company as well as their products are posted, beacons are lit and he comes charging in defending them as if Howard chan is his Godfather.

He's the only member I've put on my ignore list. And I've been here for a long time.

I agree, I like having diverse views, otherwise it gets boring real quick. :dunno

To get back on topic.

Double pack or no, Spidey will be revealed eventually. Whoever thinks he won't get made is being silly. Cmon guys...it's friggin Spider-Man.

Re: Hot Toys - MMS - Captain America: Civil War - Spider-Man Collectible Figure

Has anyone suggested he won't be made? It's rather obvious he will.

Right. Always a downer. Except most of my "arguments" are when someone trashes a product and I disagree. But that makes me the negative one, Becuase I disagree.

Also, the last three major discussions where when I answered a direct question. And the issue in this thread I was spot on. And my first few posts where a few words long. It had to get longer Becuase the point wasn't getting across. Even after posting the best proof you can have. Direct quotes from the company CEO.

Go look at the mk45 section. I spent two hole days posting pictures based on multiple requests. But yeah, all negative. And anytime I get into a discusion or disagreement five people gotta chime in with the personal attacks ("the inside source" or the "essay" posts. Or the always serious complaints.)

And despite how many people post that they don't like the information I share I get dozens of PMs a week about how people do like it.

As for me being "wrong" or posting inaccurate info...sure, I'm not always right. No one is. Not even the company CEO from hot toys is right about what the company has planned or is doing and is wrong. Stuff happens. But the vast majority of my statements about how things are, or what's going on behind the scenes, or what may be coming is based on things from people at the companies, or my personal experience working in the same industry, or contracts ect...and not my own personal wants or likes.

As for my industry not being toy production...that's where your wrong. It is what my family does. Personally I'm not working directly in toys right now, but I spent 15 years working for my father doing just that. And he still is. And given I get a lot of my info directly from sideshow employees and hot toys employees and factory workers in mainland China. It's not a sense of entitlement, it's just from a place of experience.

I think there were a couple of posts back that suggested he might not get made due to some deal marvel had with Sony.

*shrugs*

I think it's less than 50/50 we get a CW Spidey given his movie will be out next July. Just about the time his CW figure is ready 1Q/2Q 2017?, they could wait a few months and have the Homecoming one out to capitalize on the excitement of the new movie. :dunno

Ditto. First person I've ever done it to in 9 years.

I get your point but put that way, 3 Starlet Witch figures in the span of a year weren't needed. Vision is also getting a second figure pretty soon after the AOU version, assuming he is announced next.

HT isn't afraid to do multiple versions of the same character, even when they're similar.

Nooooooo way, that would suck big time! I can't imagine HT passing on the chance to make CW spidey at all. It's guaranteed money.

Maybe you need to work on your people skills. Most people don't respond well to arrogance.
