Re: Hot Toys - MMS - Captain America: Civil War - Spider-Man Collectible Figure

Maybe you need to work on your people skills. Most people don't respond well to arrogance.

Had nothing to do with arrogance. He made a smart comment about me in a thread and I told him i wasn't gonna answer anymore questions from someone talking trash about me. That's when I suddenly become such a bad guy.

No...the problem is you've a huge attitude problem. It took me time to realise you're full of **** with no real info. You think you're better than everybody here with your 'contacts' so you stomp all over anyone with a conflicting viewpoint and call it honesty. I know I'm not the only one sick of your posts and ******** so screenshot away.

I was just about to say you've put him on ignore because you've realized he's a fraud.

He has no contacts. The one contact he has is called "Google".

I think we know where everybody stands, so let's just drop the personal fighting, OK.

Re: Hot Toys - MMS - Captain America: Civil War - Spider-Man Collectible Figure

I won't respect someone that speaks the way he does to almost everyone here. He should have been given a warning long ago.

Re: Hot Toys - MMS - Captain America: Civil War - Spider-Man Collectible Figure

Ironically this thread has become a...dare I say it...Civil War.

Re: Hot Toys - MMS - Captain America: Civil War - Spider-Man Collectible Figure

Man, I cannot wait to order a individually packed CW Spiderman!

I can't wait order a Spiderman from CW no matter dual or single. It would actually be my first Stark fig and the repulsor watch and suit would be an awesome first and only.

Now that Peter Parker no longer has to worry about money since Tony Stark has taken him under his wing, doesn't that drastically change Spider-Man's character? He no longer has to scrabble for money which made him relatable.

Re: Hot Toys - MMS - Captain America: Civil War - Spider-Man Collectible Figure

Honestly this thread has made me shake my head enough. You guys want to be keyboard warriors, please do it somewhere else. Your petty arguments have derailed this thread. I'm sorry if that offends but I've had enough.

Depends. Stark may not want to be giving him a bunch of money to avoid suspicion. He said something about a scholarship, but that doesn't mean he's gonna be paying the Parker family's rent.

Thank you for immediately RE railing this thread.

I agree. It's not so much Parker under Tony's wing as it's Spidey under Iron Man's I presume.

Re: Hot Toys - MMS - Captain America: Civil War - Spider-Man Collectible Figure

The most tony will do is probably supply Parker some tech. But giving money to support him and his aunt...that's a bit out there. One thing that's always been a part of Peter parkers story is having to struggle with finances. He's not a Bruce Wayne or a tony stark or Oliver queen. It's why spidey is one of if not the most relatable heroes. If Tony shows up in homecoming and starts giving Parker a ****load of cash, you immediately eliminate one of the many key things that makes Peter...well...Peter. His struggles aren't just on the battlefield with his villains.

Re: Hot Toys - MMS - Captain America: Civil War - Spider-Man Collectible Figure

Perhaps not a boatload of cash but maybe a scholarship to put him through college is the most I'd see Tony do financially. I would think he would continue to assist Peter with improving his costume.

I really hold out hope he will be released.

Re: Hot Toys - MMS - Captain America: Civil War - Spider-Man Collectible Figure

Do you think theres a chance we'll see Iron-Spidey in Homecoming ?

Re: Hot Toys - MMS - Captain America: Civil War - Spider-Man Collectible Figure

I think iron spidey makes more sense for an infinity war. Stakes are higher. Also, for a spidey movie under a collab with marvel and Sony as a means to "reintroduce" the character, I think they're gonna wanna keep the story simple. So I'm gonna say no to the idea of iron spidey.

Re: Hot Toys - MMS - Captain America: Civil War - Spider-Man Collectible Figure

I haven't followed comics in a loooong time haha. How did he get rich?

Re: Hot Toys - MMS - Captain America: Civil War - Spider-Man Collectible Figure

He has his own tech company now.
