Sorry, it took FOREVER juggling Christmas and school events with having my kids watch all the freaking Tobey and Garfield movies beforehand but they were both SOOO thankful that I had them watch the prior films first. We all LOVED it!
AG saving MJ holy crap one of my favorite moments in modern cinema.
It was the kids fault this time. They wanted to go also, and it was tuff to get a time where we all go at the same time. Stupid High School sports: lol

Idk, there was some amazing fight sequences in IW. Great locations too. But anytime AG or TM is on the screen, I can't stop smiling! Plus, I enjoyed all the villains.
Octavius was in between the timeline of Osborn and old Parker so I assume that the spell pulled various people different time periods of the same universe.
This movie was an emotional roller coaster thrill ride and a huge blast!
Perfect?
NOPE!
Some character traits rubbed me the wrong way
Parker being irresponsible and selfish by dragging his friends into cataclysmic events
while other things I wanted to see happen didn’t
Osborn left alone after his cure Parker should’ve interacted with him for some closure for both
and the decision to switch the climax into darkness to get the movie finished on time was unfortunate.
Also
it made no sense that Doc Ock said the last thing he remembered from his universe was strangling Peter which wasn’t he should’ve said going into the river and then poof he arrived.
But ignore what I just wrote and definitely go see this asap with the most enthusiastic crowd possible (sorry Ireland).
If your main complaint all this time has been that you want a Spider-Man movie not a Stark-man movie then your train has FINALLY arrived GET ONBOARD!
His final costume was a huge surprise and freaking gorgeous GIVE ME NOW!
One of the most emotional movies I have ever experienced!
Tobey’s eyes and facial expression at the big critical scene during the climax was super powerful super super powerful!
Andrew’s big moment was also freaking amazing!
I will end it with this.
I just experienced the most gut punching emotional
death scene in cinema history…..FOR ME. I teared up 3 times in this freaking movie lol AND holy crap I was not expecting a full DS2 trailer for the end credits scene that was also a huge surprise!
My daughter (15 yo) was NOT okay with the note that it ended on though and repeatedly said that they need to start working on a new Spidey movie NOW where everyone remembers him again, lol.

Yeah I'm still decompressing and processing all the amazing moments in this film. All three Spideys swinging around the Statue of Liberty at once, the banter/dialogue between the three Peters seamlessly transitioning back and forth between hilarious and touching. They hit so many homeruns. Tobey and Garfield get to go out on such a high note now.
(Though I really wanted to see some "returning home" moments for the other two Peters. I was so invested that I wanted to see AG return home and see that by saving Electro he retroactively prevented Gwen's death, lol.)
You Jaws and I haven’t agreed on a movie for quite awhile now so this is a pleasant surprise!
The emotions in this movie outweigh anything negative I can say about it so it’s the the MCU TROS for me
Aunt May dying and Tobey Spiderman being the one pleading and leading the charge for MCU Peter to not push the button really made this movie a homerun for me.
Spider-Man as a character has just never been my jam, all the way back to Secret Wars figures. My brother had Spidey and Daredevil and I had Iron Man and Wolverine, and those two remain my favorite Marvel characters to this day.
Even as a non "fan" of Spidey, there was a lot to like in this movie.
I agree with Khev's kid.....heartbreaking to see how Peter chose to just walk away from MJ after seeing how close they were throughout the whole movie. Hopefully that gets rectified in the next one.
Man. Everyone's talking about all the action in these movies and all I'm doing is focusing on the happy or sad relationships. When did I become a simpering, quivering wuss?

No I'm totally with you man the nerdy fun of seeing the Spideys on screen together was great but it was all the feels that knocked this one out of the park. I seriously almost lost it when AG caught MJ, lol.
