Well, not every comic book action panel has one subject in the 3/4 airborne pose. It may be SS wants to have a consistent theme thoughout all the VS dios.

Yeah, I see what you mean but I also feel the idea is getting stale and played out. They should try something different. Maybe like the first sentinel piece or maybe like the Fantastic 4 Diorama.

If I could afford it, I'd be getting this but I don't collect the dios.

PH/ Silver Savage is the only exception. :monkey3

According to Shai, it seems to be a big hit on statueforum.com...

Funny thing about those guys, they order in large numbers and cancel in large numbers. I'd be all over this dio if Psylocke was more slender, and not so musclely, think Kiana Tom.

WWH/ Silver Savage is the only exception.

Even if you could afford X-men dio #1?

Yep.

I personaly don't like the piece. It's worth tons of $$$ but to me that really doesn't matter.

I hate those crappy "Astonishing" X-Men oufits. If this was a Byre or even maybe a Jim Lee inspired dio I'd be all over it.

What a bunch of whiney ^^^^^es.

It looks fantastic, very dynamic and cool colors that complement each other well. If I had the slightest interest in the characters I'd be all over this.

Not every piece is for every collector. Just because one item comes out that isn't of interest to you doesn't mean something that you'd prefer is forever lost and will never be made.

I think Marvel collectors should be encouraged that something this obscure can be produced - it bodes well for just about anything in the Marvel universe being possible.

I agree. I like the colors, and I especially like both characters. My only complaint is that Psylocke"s costume should be more thong- like.

It's nice, but I am not gonna order it. Psylocke's sculpted face looks off. She would make for the better in Adam's hands :)

SS, have you guys seen my awsome AV, maybe at SDCC ;)

You mean, under Adam's SUPERVISION. If only Mr.Hughes would start sculpting....

I think is fine and good that people play the diversity card for having different statues in the line. Nothing wrong with that.

However, let's keep in mind when this is shipping: 3rd quarter. After SDCC. This is still Spiral and Psylocke. More power to those that like it enough to complete their orders when they begin to ship.

Just keeping it real. I don't see how Sideshow can afford to gamble on these type of choices for sculpt having all the feedback that they have from us.

No interest in these characters. Yet another pass for me. Looks like the only thing I have to look forward to is the Hulk vs SS dio. At least SS is helping me save major $$$.

Feels like everytime SS releases a dio with their development team something seems a little off.

Is SS trying to develop their own set of in house sculptors/art direction?

Look good to me,but will buy it off the Bay for a better deal after it releases !

I think that they did a great job with Psylocke on this one (not counting the horrible energy "fist-snowcones").

She has the appearance of a person coming out of a leaping spin into a sidekick. The swords are positioned to emphasize the motion. Perhaps the whole "staircase" thing has been done to death by Sideshow so far, but having her at the top of the staircase allows more realism for such a leap.

Its funny, but I think if they had put a thong on psylocke the Dio would have been a instant sellout.Sex for nerds always sells.
