I said this in another thread and I'll put it here as well for the 'Whiny ^^^^^es'.

...Sideshow are keeping the BIG GUNS holstered until SDCC. I like the new Dio and anyone saying that it sucks is only because they were personally dissapointed that it was something they didn't want. At least SSC are doing different characters now, I mean the crybabies were whining about too much Spider-Man, Hulk and Iron Man and as soon as a new character comes out they bash it, that's what is lame.

In my case I used it as a joke, 'cause that's what Dave called them. But just as you said, why can't they just not buy it instead of putting it down 'cause it was not their preference?

i think all the ss statue are amazing from the pf,dio,Legendary Scale Busts,Comiquette in all the lines star wars that i like,marvel that i love colleting,monsters/horror i don't collect but i think that look amazing as well
but that's my opinion

but really i agree that ssc has to do other pieces than the cap, spidey, thor, hulk characters.
i hope this fits into someones want list.
it does look good, just not my cup of tea.

Word... Don't get me wrong, if I could buy ALL the Marvel pieces I would. But I gotta be real selective right now. I collect alot of different stuff and this just does not fit. I think the hate is base on character choice.

On that note, lemme soapbox for a second...

Sideshow is not going anywhere. Chances are you will get your favorite character done up in polystone sometime soon if it hasn't been done already. Now the word soon is subjective and can mean months or years, they don't fart these things out after every big meal ya know. If you want the WHOLE Marvel Universe, go Bowen. If you are going after quality then you buy selectively anyway. I'd rather spend a long time collecting than getting my wish pieces filled in a single year.

Well, not every comic book action panel has one subject in the 3/4 airborne pose. It may be SS wants to have a consistent theme thoughout all the VS dios.

It's weird to me that some of you take the choices of characters for these dios so personally.

I saw this one and really didn't think much of it. I wasn't upset or disappointed- just not interested.

There will be plenty more statues to come so save your coins and skip the ones that don't call your name. It's not a big deal. Really, it's not.
