But I do have a bit worry about the thickness of the base .... I afraid once again I will "accidentally" break it.....

This time my Friend, if you drop it on your foot your foot may get broken and you might ding the Base up, but on Hardwood or Tile, The Floor your foot and maybe a chunk off the base without Beast :lol:lol:lol

Put it in a display case then.

No! Jason No!, can't make me, unless the glass is almost 1/2" thick and that's what he is sitting on with the others on a Custom Cabinet :)

Lol okay Al......:wave

and he is Heavy also; Jason, I know I have that BadBoy

He is very heavy and solid. When I received the replacement hand and had to destroy the original it was very dense and thick, I hit it several times with a hammer and only the fingers broke off.

I concur. Actually while I was moving my 1:1 WoW sword my friend warned me about that.

TROLLS that dont even own any Marvel SSC pieces need not apply.

I have a question and I need help with my OFFICIALLY LICENSED SSC STATUES. Since I legally purchased each and every statue I am entitled to make any modification I so choose.

I inquired about a 1/4th scale Beast premium Format from SSC, however I was told that there were no plans (as of yet) to include him in the PF line. SO, I decided to make alterations to a preexisting PF statue.

My question is this...

In comparing the 1/5th scale comiquette to the rest of the SSC 1/4TH PF XMEN line, I notice that Beast's pre-existing body proportions are still significantly bigger. His forearms are bigger than his head. Throughout his comic history Beast is drawn more and more lion/ape like... and his muscle mass has increased tremendously. Now the alterations made to the Black Panther PF to resemble a 1/4th Beast Jim Lee ape-like variant, still looks off to me. Do you guys think that this looks in scale with the remaining XMEN 1/4TH SCALE PFs? Does it look like an anorexic Beast?

I want him to look like this... the sculpt is of Black Panther. I want the 1/5th scale body proportions translated into 1/4th. Do you think that would make him too big?

The height is perfect, both of them are 5'11.

Beast however is 400lbs... BP is 200lbs... therefore his muscle would have to be enormous in comparision.

1st of all, smh at SSC having no Beast PF planned. They work through the Blue Team to skip him and go to Gold? I figured no Jubilee, but no Beast? What's up with the lack of popular furries? No Chewie, no Beast, but Bigfoot. And for everyone that complained SSC didn't complete the LotR Fellowship, now we have an incomplete Blue Team, too. But anyway...

Sebastian your Beast looks on the right track, but the Jim Lee pic you posted shows the correct proportions to the rest of the team. Beast's body is BIG. Look at that right bicep in the Jim Lee pic compared to Cyclops' bicep. Black Panther was a good base though (and a cool PF that I own). Bulk that guy up and you got it.

Patience my friend, patience. I don't think Sideshow has really thought about the order in which they work through the X-Men of the era chosen. I still have confidence Beast and Jubilee will be made.

I should have been more specific that my gripe is that their skipping him for now (because the original comment did say they have no plans for now, not indefinitely). It's like people who complain there's no PF of (insert any popular character)...we all know eventually, even if it takes years, there will be a DD, Phoenix, Magneto, etc.

I disagree about the order though. By the time they started planning Rogue or even Psylocke I think they realized they were forming the Blue Team. I don't think they just blindly roll through these, especially since they have to balance against comiquettes, which is probably one reason why a Beast PF is being skipped for now. They haven't sold out of the regular Comiquette yet.

Sabertooth is almost 7 feet tall. Beast was never that big in comics. Beast has an enoromous upper body, and big quads
