I'm liking it,

I did notice that not a lot of care was taken for the photo gallery shots though...loose threads, not a lot of care taken to adjusting the robe and outfit...

While the Kamino dart would/should have been a basic accessory, a more interesting exclusive could've been the leg and arm shackles Kenobi wears while suspended in the Geonosian holding cell.

But despite that, the sculpt still looks great, especially capping off the Jedi outfit and robe.

A shame this one got Bucked. Even with it's floppiness issues, the Pro is so much nicer. It seems like they'd want to start using it more and make back some of that R&D money. Do people really want to suffer the Buck to save $5-$10? Having the Clone Obi-Wan come out first makes this one feel even more archaic, like a de-evolution.

Looks great, for sure I'll be getting it, but now I wonder if we'll get an AOTC Anakin to go with him. I'm really hoping for Anakin, Dooku, Jango and Padme. Hell, SSC could reuse the Padme sculpt form Snowbunny Padme, just add hair. The sculpt was totally Portman to me.

Has anyone who got Indy noticed that the Prometheus is kind of small? Standing next to the clone armor Kenobi, he looked shorter. Then I stood him next to Doc Holliday and I noticed that the Prometheus is much smaller than the Buck.

If so, that is a super ghey move by Sideshow.

And why can't they show this figure with a PRODUCTION head?

I will get it probably. It looks good so far, it makes me smile to see this figure of ep2. But i will most likely get it from an online retailer since it's on the buck.

I noticed that with the arms. When I swapped Indy on a TrueType and put the pro on the borrowed Soldier, I noticed that the BDU sleeves which had been just perfect on the TrueType were almost a half an inch too long for the Pro. Wondering if the issue's the shoulders, the arms or a combo of both.

Was debating wether to pre order this, or buy a used episode 3 obi wan on ebay. Only have the money for one, and now i've chosen to go with this.

The whole of the costume is perfect for any of you who own the Sunohc Episode 1 Obi sculpt. Would look great.

Sideshow does regularly speak of 1/6 figures coming with more accessories, don't they?

As much as I love Obi-Wan, this guy is easily going onto the ever growing list of figures I will pick up on the aftermarket. Also, this easily the worst exclusive since lembas bread.

I have to agree with you. Lately I've been picking up previously released figures for a fraction of their original costs:

1. Han Solo Smuggler: $30.00 (bought loose parts and put him together.)
2. Princess Leia ANH: $27.00 (and she's the exclusive)
3. Endor Rebel SS exclusive: $35 (wanted trenchcoat for Bespin Han)

The exclusive "dart" made me laugh.

QUESTION: Is the outfit worn by Obi Wan the same in Ep1 and Ep2?

I like him a lot, but I'll wait to get him in the aftermarket at a lower price. There's not much about him (like any of his accessories or clothing) that is so unique that I feel I need to have right away. The new sculpt is nice, and since I passed on Clonobi, it's a nice alternative for me. But I'll wait til I can find him cheap.
