I received mine last week. Just got back from a trip I will try to post some images soon.

I felt the overall paint work is better than the Armoured version. However when I was at my local retail shop where I have 6 pieces to pick from, I realised all except one (which I took) had the 2 moles on his headsculpt highlighted with brown paint which I thought look awkward.

those pics make the head look terrible, but i don't care. gonna swap him over to a truetype, and I've already got an extra clonobi head.
just need to go get him some wrists.

Good idea. Then you did be getting a more posable figure. I will try that too.

Interesting, because so far every in hand image has looked like the apps on the AOTC head came out below the quality of Clonobi, whom I feel is one of SSC's best 1/6 paint jobs ever.

That's what I'm doing. This figure is basically parts to polish off my kitbash. I've got my TT and Clonobi head covered, but the ROTS and Hasbro clothes really was only a temporary solution for me, this figure is perfect, nice boots, proper color tunic and undershirt, should round off into a very sharp looking AOTC figure when done.

I swapped my anakin, Legolas, Gandalf, and Aragorn over to truetypes, Love the end result. works so very well :rock

Not sure about those guys, but having used the TT for Obi-Wan, I can say it's one of the few figures where tight clothing still looks good with the TT's broad shoulders, it helps get that broad look with the Jedi tunics on the shoulders that I love, makes them look more powerful. In fact, because of that, I'd almost dread certain Jedi on the Pro's shoulders.

Hadn't tought of that. but Ya, the Trutype body looks fantastic on my LOTR figures, Gandalf gets a simular effect to the jedi with the shoulders. same with legolas and aragorn. the only problem i've had is getting aragorn's calves into the super-tight boots he has.. still carving down the TT's legs. I tink it's time to stop carving and sanding, and start dremmeling

Well, that's the trouble with body swapping sometimes, these things are often made specifically for a body and you can't just throw them on another.

Gosh. Then you might not like the paint job for this one. The Clonobi paint job has a certain glossy look which this figure doesn't have. This one is closer to the rest of the figures in the line. However the hair is of a lighter blonde which I thought is more accurate.

Well, I agree with the gloss, but the beard and mustache came out fantastic and really don't look of the same quality on this new head. Hair might be a hair darker and one-toned on Clonobi, but the overall head just has really nicely applied paint.

Yeeah, i know, But this is one of the first instances i've had trouble with boots! :lol I also know why they don't fit. it's the leather cuff at the top. if he did not have that on his boots, they would fit Just fine. I took them off and tried to to see. this simply makes it entirely too tight. i've also managed to fit his leg into the boots without his pants tucked into them. sit it's just a minor thing. but like i said, DREMMEL TIME!
