Yeah, no. Possibly a little confusion on the part of the poster, or eager to show of his EPIII Obi and not wanting to scour through the many dead threads to share. We're all still waiting on the "in hand" EPII pics of Obi Wan promised over a month ago.

Yeah, I couldn't find the ROTS Obi thread, sorry.

Plus, I think this will be a better figure than EPII Ben anyhow. I'm very happy with it!

While I'm quite happy with ROTS Obi, there's no doubt that since they used the same headsculpt as armored Obi, a scarily realistic likeness, it will be great in it's own right.

Even Hasbro is getting into the AOTC Obi-Wan act...the latest SW Insider shows a pic of an upcoming new regular figure version of EpII Kenobi...and it looks pretty good! Much better than the versions that were released when AOTC came out.

But I want my Sideshow version please....

Wish it was part of an "Evolutions" set...with upgrades to Ep1 & ANH Obi too...

Could be...I was hoping he was next, actually. But it's Antilles who is shipping now...

back to the hasbro thing a sec...that article also mentions some other interesting SW action figure news, a redux of Slave Leia that features interchangeable legs: a set for standing and a set for her sitting on the Jabba thorne (that is coming out as part of a Battle pack later this year...looks like an update of the '80s classic one). Also, the infamous "ice cream maker man" from ESB is set to make his peg warming debut in the fall. It's a good article, check it out.

Back to Ep2 Kenobi...has there been any word when he is shipping?

Yep, definitely better than the previosu Obi Ep II releases... Now we just need an Ep. I release like that as well.

Those box shots of Obi-wan are pretty impressive looking. I haven't paid much attention to this figure since I'm not getting it, but I like the way it's shaping up.

Is Sideshow trying to go more for the single flap box now, or is it still on a figure by figure basis?

The last couple of Sideshow figures I bought were ANH Han and Indy both of which have the double-fold box, but I know some of the recent Star Wars figures have been going with the single flap.

I am really kind of mad. I bought one of these on eBay, had it sent to my work address in Phoenix, then got pulled from the job for a priority here at home. The figure was sent back, b the seller still has not recieved it. And it has been like 3-4 weeks since I bought it.

I hope they get it back soon so they can send it to me ASAP.
