But yea Legolas does look good I can live without the Cloak but need the Orc Head to make up for the lack of the Cloak

I think I'll just try to make me a cloak. I'll try and pattern it off of Aragorn's.

Yeah cloak should be easy enough to make. Would have been nice if they included it. I understand they're going for the Moria look though.

So thats Frodo, MO and now Legolas on a Moria Base???
I predict Gimli will have an Amon Hen base

I'm glad they finally previewed it. Looks great! I won't be able to PPO the Exc., but I'm sure if I get on the WL, it will convert.

Exc seems like a bit of a yawn and i thought a quality company like SS would have had a bit more of an understanding on what their customers would most likely want.

I can live with the regular, but I appreciate someone pointing out how cool the dwarf skull looks with Frodo. I just don't remembering seeing too many Orc skulls in the movie.

For my taste, I prefer Legolas without the cloak. The tunic he wears has a lot of detail that would have been hidden under the cloak anyway. Still bummed that Aragorn is taken from the two minutes he wasn't wearing his duster and he hadn't gotten Boromir's Vambraces yet...those two elements are a huge part of the costume for me, but Legolas looks really complete. I can't wait to see some more of the detail, particularly the quiver on his back.

The only gripe I have is the Moria base. It's been done before (twice), and to be honest I see Legolas as a character who should have a forest/wood type base what with being an Elf. Admittedly it's only a very small gripe and it's just my opinion but hey

That's a valid point. I think an Amon Hen [with Elven cloak] scene would have been more appropriate, but either way the likeness looks terrific and that's what is most important to me.

Agreed. But I think an Aragorn, Legolas and Gimli threesome with elven cloaks and Amon Hen gear would have been great displayed together. Though as you say, the likeness is awesome and this is a must have really.

Its great to see Sideshow trying to make the EX not so Exclusive so that those that dont get it will be happy with the regular versions. (sarcasm complete) ok WTF I thought Ex was just that, a special unique item you cant live without.... and having the Ex was the crown jewel. It seems Sideshow is lacking on the WOW factor of the EX's and are just throwing any old crap on a base just to call it Ex. Well I will get this regardless the fact, but it is disappointing to see the EX's take a nosedive to ordinary, instead of extraordinary that they used to be.

I guess that an Amon Hen base would have required the cloak and Lothlorien weapons so the figure would match. Doing this version of his costume and weapons, the Moria base makes sense--and it will match Frodo on my shelf since they will both be standing near skulls, lol.

Now I would have preferred to see them produce an Amon Hen Legolas with cloak, but I would also rather have seen a Gandalf the Grey produced that would be on my shelf right now instead of the White version that I passed on. I would love to eventually get a Gandalf the Grey and a Gimli in their FOTR costumes. That would make a great display. (Of course, I would absolutely buy the other three hobbits in FOTR costumes, but I have a feeling that they will never be made.)
