The eyes on yours look like the same sharpie used on the other 749, and the watorcolor used on the hair leaves the same nice, thinning effect.
Show some closeups of the face so we can see the eyes, bandana and lips.

the 3-5 customers is just a damage control line every company uses. They dont want to admit anything is wrong because if they do even the people that are ok" with this piece will want something. I still expect them to do something. Im not sure what that will be.

But I dont expect them to ever say that all of them are messed up. Even if they do a new run and offer to replace ours the public line will always be a minority of these needed to be replaced. Most of the rogues that were shipped were above standard.

funny thing is that they do that here on the customs board as well

Man, I love this thing. I suspected I might. All of the photos I've seen were clearly taken with a wide-angle lens, very close. This tends to exaggerate the effect.

Here are a couple of photos of mine. Let's be honest: This is how the statue will typically be viewed. Not up close to the point of the viewers eyes being crossed.

It's cool you like her but judging from your pics she has the same S_____ paint apps we all got. You don't have to be close to noticed how crappy she looks.

The discount amount is irrelevant for the purpose of this discussion. Either you like the statue or you don't. Either you can be bought off or not. Using your numbers, $60 and you would be happy? I just don't understand that reasoning.

I am not trying to single you out as there are many others who have said as you have that a partial refund would be acceptable. Does not compute for me.

Everything but the head paint job is fine with me. I really have no issue with the butt change. If the heads were painted correctly, she would be a keeper. I think it's a fair assessment for me to think it would cost $60 to get the heads repainted.

This is what I said yesterday. It looks pretty good in person from normal viewing distance. It really does. In fact if you ask me a positive thing about it, I would tell you that I think the idea behind the paint on the body is great. Its matte yet not dull in any way. Its great.

But if you do want to get in the nitty gritty of it and look up close.... there are issues. At least with all the ones Ive seen. I havent seen yours up close. I mean for one your normal Rogue head isnt even looking the right direction. She is supposed to be looking to the left. Changes the attitude of the piece. Eyes arent painted in the right direction.... that a problem.... for starters ....with what you've got there.

One thing that is important to note is that the proto's behind, was changed by request of Marvel. I knew something so drastic was not the decision of the factory but the higher up. Im not sure how much Sideshow is to be blamed.
The only thing is they showed us the rear of the proto and we all were salivating to get her this way. But what can SS do if Marvel/Disney says no?!

About all the other issues QC of factory is to be blamed.

I respectfully disagree. Here are the reasons:
- It has SS's seal of QC approval.
- SS is in charge. Not the factory.

Agreed, the pupil is blown out. And the other guy is happy to keep a broken statue that came with a bent portrait?

Where in Iron Fist's post was there any indication that he was happy to keep a broken statue? That's just too much

Well...Here she is!

I took a few quick pics before I had to go back to work.

After throughly inspecting the base, the belt & jacket, the art prints, the body, right arm, both ands and both portraits I found very minor paint issues. Nothing like what I've seen on others and certainly nothing to cry over anyways.

IMO the Ex portrait looks good, the Reg portrait does have a slight "lazy" eye on the left. I'm still debating on the Reg portrait.

Edit: I think the eye shadow pretty bad on the Reg portrait.

The jacket doesn't let the Reg portrait sit completely in the neck socket but the Ex portrait does.

Rogue's ass looks fine to me, it's what it might look like if a real woman was wearing a tight uniform.

I like what I see and that's all that matters.

Now having said that...I think that anyone who got a bad Rogue should contact Sideshow as soon as possible and request either a full refund or replacement.
