I know we all want perfection and when we dont get it, it sucks! :gah:

Though V is a master painter, why should he do it himself which he already paid $300+ for it. It's a little BS for SSC to come up with this excuse.:wave

I really can't believe your posts. This is not about some crybaby customers whinning because they didn't get a perfect statue or complaining about small details, small flaws. This is about a whole messed up product run!

It is more apparent to both the customers and Sideshow that this needs fixing. Dont forget Im a collector too! :)

SSC has put me in a very tight spot and it's a clear leverage for them. I own Gambit and I want Rogue. I know damn well they will not make another one to go with him since it was based on Jim Lees X-men.

The right thing for SSC is to redo the reg head. I know damn well they are not going to do it.

I also have both my prints damaged by glue. If those aren't replaced, I will return it. If they replace it but give me a partial refund, I might take it. I will make it known to them I will not be happy about this period.

Well they definitely won't if you keep them or you let them buy you off with a partial refund. I don't get what a partial refund buys. You are unhappy about the product at a $300 price point, but a 10% refund makes it better? It is still the same _____ty statue IMO. :dunno

Take control of the situation by putting the ownership back on Sideshow by sending the statue back and telling them to fix it. I guarantee they will be more inclined to fix them if they are sitting in their warehouse taking up space rather than sitting in your room.

Just called Sideshow/Customer Service about the bad paint app on my rogue Ex. CS told me that i will be receiving a e-mail shortly about it. I have no clue what will be in said e-mail but I assume they will want me to send pictures and maybe offer me some sort of replacement? i'm hesitant about a replacement unless they can assure me they are freshly painted and look like the prototype pics

Who said it will be a 10% discount? If they offer it to me, it would be a minimum of 20%! That's going to be the hassle of getting her repainted.

Sorry, but they don't, that is Hot Toys. In fact, they didn't even said "pending licensor approval" this time.... Wait, what did they mention about Marvel requesting what?

Man, I love this thing. I suspected I might. All of the photos I've seen were clearly taken with a wide-angle lens, very close. This tends to exaggerate the effect.

Here are a couple of photos of mine. Let's be honest: This is how the statue will typically be viewed. Not up close to the point of the viewers eyes being crossed. :lol

The discount amount is irrelevant for the purpose of this discussion. Either you like the statue or you don't. Either you can be bought off or not. Using your numbers, $60 and you would be happy? I just don't understand that reasoning.

I am not trying to single you out as there are many others who have said as you have that a partial refund would be acceptable. Does not compute for me.

Dayym I better open mine and check for these inconsistent paint flaws. She looks like a Dead Eye Pirate a few pics back. Now I'm getting worried about my other items I just received and have not opened.

What happen to the "product guarantee" policy?

"Guarantee"...:lol

Can't guarantee something if you don't have the product to even make a good exchange. This is going to come down to how much can you accept or not. I think with all these Rogue's you can at least find three major areas where something went really wrong. Even the Spider-Man Comi & Ironman Maquette had some good ones come out the pipe.
