Re: Rogue

Used to feel that way. Not so much anymore.

No doubt the people at Sideshow are great and all that, but Sideshow as a company is a far cry from what it was years ago.

I judge a company by the products they put out, not by the people that work their. And Sideshow has been putting out increasingly bad products over the last couple years.

Guys like Josh and Dave have a hard time separating the people from the business because of their personal relationships with those at Sideshow.

Bottom line is Sideshow has been cutting corners for the last few years, their quality control is at an all time low and prices at an all time high.

Inconsistency and complacence. Two words that unfortunately come to mind when I think of the Sideshow of today.

:exactly: sad, but true.

Yeah, well you can't expect Dave to say anything bad whatsoever. He needs to maintain a good relationship with Sideshow.

You can definitely sieve out the people who give their honest unadulterated opinions vs those that don't tho'. After a while on the boards, you find out who's views you can relate to.

That's not at all true. I was standing right there when Dave told some girl that Klauder reminded him of a gay chihuahua. And he once told me in confidence that Mat Falls couldn't sculpt his way out of a paper bag. And that Brant Bridges has a soul like that of Satan himself. :lecture

See, I told you he really paints a better picture of them.

Finished up my EX head. Fixed the shape of the lipstick and lightened the colour to more of a vibrant red, fixed a ton of issues with the hair that isn't pictured, lightened the white hair, fixed the bandana, added some green eyeshadow since I thought it'd look nice. My first picture is more flattering of the paint than it actually was, it looked like total crap from a lot of angles.

Didn't bother to change the eyes since I thought they were alright but the ones on my regular head...welp.
Oh I love the hair. It looks like you took her to the groomers and washed all the dirt out! Overall I like the new look a lot. If you have the ability to repaint the eyes I would. Paint them looking straight not up so they match the print and don't look so awkward and lifeless.

Also. Does your EX head not fit all the way down? I can see the gap at the base there where the v collar is. I've only seen that on regular heads with the jacket on.

Great, Great, Job; Teng, looks a lot better, Glad you didn't get the eye thing, I just have a problem with buying a statue Brand New and when you get it home and it has all kinds of issues and then you have to fix it.
You should send them a bill for your time and supplies put in to correcting there lack of professionalism.
Again Great Job; Teng

I agree with you on that statement; King, I just want to add one thing someone should have been fired over this poor lack of professionalism and this is not coming from emotion when I state that, Hell if I would have been at the control's and this happened I would have expected to get fired :exactly: :goodpost: King

Re: Rogue

I love this complaint. I've posted what worked for about a dozen times and no one ever pays attention. This is the last time I'm gonna say this. I had the same issue with the coat and the reg head neck. I pulled the jacket forward so the shoulder strap cleared the hair and my head fit fine. Should work for everyone since the thickness shouldnt be an issue once that strap clears the hair. The result looks great.

I did try this when you originally posted but I couldn't get it to work. A pic would be useful.

I'll see how it goes when I repaint my reg eyes, might do some additional touch-ups on the EX head. But yeah, my EX head doesn't fit all the way down. :/

Oh trust me, I totally have a problem with it as well, I shouldn't have to touch up the statue. But since they're sure taking their time getting back to people, figured I might as well give it a whirl. My painting skills were super rusty anyways, it's good practice.

I'm not sure if I'll go for a complete replacement/whatever yet, I'm waiting to see what Sideshow offers, since Rogue's body has a lot of paint issues too.

Thanks for the compliments guys! I'll get some better pictures later that show the differences more, there's a lot that doesn't show up well in that shot.

Your Paint skills are far from rusty; Teng, I like many others are Fearful as to what they are going to get when there's shows up referring to the Heads, The one thing that Gripped me is that they couldn't get the Ass right liked what was presented in the prototype in the preview and at the SDCC, I call False Advertising.

You don't ask a Goddess out and when you go pick her up at the Door and a Water Retaining Sea-cow answers
