Got mine today, standard issues with the reg head and the statue is really unstable in the base. Reg will not fit with Jacket on either. Oh and I reckon I could do a better job with the lips with my eyes closed. For me the real kick in the balls is the box still showing the preview piece, just a reminder of what could have been :(

THe paint on these heads is very thin and blotchy, it is hard to pick up all the flaws with my bad photography skills but next to the she hulk PF and Ms Marvel PF it is obvious that there has been a lapse with this item, hope it is not repeated.

I'll stick with my opinion.

Cool deal. That's all the matters really. The face is nicer on yours. The only thing that looks bad is your eye shadow is actually bleeding into the eyeball itself pretty heavily. The lipstick looks well above average though.

Yeah that's the only thing that bothers me.

:rotfl.....I've been telling people forever now. SS makes crap products..and I got pounced on by the fanboys. Now everyone is getting a taste so you know just how it feels :nana:

I'm going to keep mine. I would like them to replace the heads with minimal hassle and tell me that the next batch won't look like the makeup was applied with a marker.

If it starts to become a hassle I'll just return it.

It would also be nice to hear from SSC about why the changes were made to the statue. By this I am referring to the backside and also the way the eyes were meant to look off to the side.

It doesn't even look like they have tried to paint it that way. I would also like to know if SSC are happy with the quality of paint app given it is so thin etc, I wonder if they have gotten what they paid for? It could be that they are also unhappy customers of the factory just as we are unhappy customers of theirs.

If they said they were happy with the paint app and quality except for a "few" flaws with peoples statues then it is a good indication of where they are heading as a company and I for one would cancel my pre-orders and call it a day.

Hello all. First post here, and unfortunately it is due to receiving a bad Rogue PFF. It has the same issues that have been hashed out here. The eyes are wonky and not fully painted, the eye liner looks horrible. I also had problems having the standard head fitting while the jacket was on. I tried everything I could with the jacket collar, but I just couldn't get it to fit right. I also have some problems with the paint on the body. The yellow appears to be way too thin of a coat, the pictures sort of show it, but green is very apparent through the yellow. I also have green spots around her abdominal/crotch area. It's a shame.

I am really worried about the other items I have on preorder now. I have already sent in for a refund RMA due to reading their response on facebook. I put my Rogue picture on their wall. The exclusive head looks fine, but if they want to pretend that these paint jobs "are due to the hand painted, custom nature of each piece" Then they can take it back for their collection and kindly return my money.

It's a damn shame

Every time I've had problems with the paint on a Sideshow head, whether it was 1:4 or 1:6, they've replaced it with one that wasn't screwed up. One time I had to wait a few weeks while they had replacements made.

Has anyone asked?

We are all on a 5 Day wait from SS. So it prob means they got way more calls about this debacle then they are saying.

So once the 5 days are up, we should know if things are being replaced or just refunded.

Like I said, I'm keeping the statue as sending it back is an annoying process and it looks good next to Gambit (from a distance).

But really is disappointing

I completely understand where you are coming from. I think most of us here want to talk ourselves into this thing because of the hype and because of Gambit or the other Xmen people already have. Unfortunately this is probably the worst thing we can do. Like the guy who wrote a review saying its almost perfect or that the heads look great but then posted on a forum that he wants his heads exchanged..... That is about the worst thing you can do.

I will say though, none of us really have any room to complain on the next one if its the same if all we do is keep it cause it looks ok from a distance or just because it goes with gambit. Im pushing hard on SS customer service and I think you should too. You should at least call to voice your complaint or send an email. Even if you plan on keeping it they should know that you arent happy with it IMO. Otherwise they have done nothing wrong.

So either he was lying or more of you guys have got to call them and complain. The more people that complain, the louder our voice gets and the more likely Sideshow is to make a decision favorable to us collectors.

The most frustrating aspect of life: people standing together and actually doing something about an issue that needs to be resolved. Unfortunately, it's human nature to avoid confrontation. Many seem content with spending 300 and then going and spending another 100 to get repainted. It's almost like some have gotten used to accepting poor quality to where they almost expect to custom mod the piece. That certainly doesn't help those of you with legitimate issues and doesn't encourage SSC's to do any better in the future. If you are b___g and moaning on here and saying you are going to contact SSC or send it back, DO IT. Otherwise, stop complaining and get used to this kind of issue.

Awesome job Fremen 100% improved! :clap I wouldn't worry about critiquing comments, everyone is a critic and I if they can't do better they have no room.

Also I don't get why all the whack jobs are out to come pounce on this piece while the iron is hot. If you don't have this piece or are not looking to buy this piece just leave the thread. I'm sure I'm not the only one that feels this way but please stop trolling the thread with useless pics and comparing the piece to several more trolling images.

I'm sure everyone is already frustrated enough with spending $300 on this piece having it come out the way it looks. There's no need to come in here if you have no business and add lighter fluid to the fire, you are not helping out the cause. I understand that everyone is pissed and they are trying to voice their opinions but it only makes everyone else look badly whenever they are trying to come to a resolution on what they would want done with their Rogue. If you've stated your opinion then that's fine, we've heard it and please move on.
