Hey, Great stuff Mike!

Just got a hold of this and I absolutely love it. Its my favorite Star Wars release so far. The paint apps are done really well and the costuming was done well as well. Can't believe how well it turned out. Give me Old Ben.

OK, inspired by Pjam's close up, I gave it a try with mine in some low light conditions...

Looks great, although it does seem Sideshow did that weird brown outline around his eyes like they did on Yavin... I think that really contributes to the ghost stare.

I am seeing a paint job that is only marginally better than the Yavin Luke. The sculpt is great. its too bad the paint job couldn't reflect that.

No gloss + doll dot + crappy brown outline = Terrible paint job

Maybe not the best pictures, but you can see the sculpt is there.

Don't worry too much about the eyes -- I mean, at this scale, you can't see the brown outline when you're looking at the whole figure. And my lighting above is really orange because of the bounce from that poster behind it.

Still a bit warm, but hey... Luke even has that little scar on his upper right lip. See it there? Now that's detail!

Where did you get your R2. Is that the green one from episode 1 repainted?

As well as the two-pack with Threepio, Artoo has had two individual releases - with and without plug-in robotic arms.

I just got mine and I have to say that I'm far more impressed than I expected to be. It's unfortunate that the shirt collar wasn't done correctly in the promo shots or at the factory, but it turns up real nice. Looking at the early pics in the new catalog - they also moved the pockets down to where they're supposed to be. So after short, but monkey-armed Jedi Luke and less than stellar paint job Yavin Luke - this is a great look and probably the best interpretation of a major character that we've gotten yet. Great sculpt, great outfit, cool accessories - what's not to like?

Totally agree DD. The word is getting out that this figure actually rocks. And, it is the Best Luke by far IMO, and a great and true representation of the character. I really think this may be one of THE best in the entire 1/6 SW line yet.. yeah, it has a few nits, mostly minor paint apps issues, hilt ring adjustments, joint issues which are an easy fix but I have been saying all along that with a few tweaks it will be an Amazing Custom Besbin Luke as well. It may well be THE Luke to have now.

Most importantly the Sculpt is great, the outfit is dead on, color, material, tailoring, it has an under rated exclusive IMO, you get the stump... personally I'm gonna have him done up by Darkartist to pose Dagobah or Final Battle...

ESB is my Favorite SW Film, and this figure now reps it extremely well.

And as Wor-Gar pointed out, it even has the lip scar, who knew? Not me, thanks WG!

It's Luke from "Empire" -- Luke that fights Vader in the best duel in the OT. Of course it's gonna be THE Luke to have. No doubt there. Moreso when Vader arrives.

Looking good, and the sculpt looks great, but pictures aren't giving me the wow that's Luke alright vibe like Jedi did when I got him, but that could all change tomorrow. No matter what though, it's a beautiful figure and a great addition and I can't wait to own him
