That really is ludicrous. You should have the buyer wherewithal to get a piece from a reputable dealer (like Bob or Adam or Marc or any number of sellers) who, should need arise, can help you out. There is nothing stopping you from going to the dealer who should in turn be able to go to Sideshow.
If the dealer refuses to do that, you just learned to never buy from them again.
Exactly! If I don't buy from SS I buy from Bob, Adam or Mike. Why? Cause I know if something happens my ass is covered.
Mine only had the wrist pin and it wasn't as limiting as you would think.

My blaster has NO issues aside from the slightly bent barrel. I also don't have the loose wrist. Guess Im just lucky.
I doubt we're the lucky ones. I think its just easy to perceive that "most" Lukes had this issue since those who got defective ones are very vocal about it (as they should be).

Yeah, you are probably right. Its more likely the minority that had problems but they are the ones who mention it... maybe I'll have to get one after all. Han does seem a bit lonely on my shelf ever since Asajj spurned his advances so at least he could have another ESB guy to talk too.

Yep, I ordered a Predator 2 figure from Alter Ego Comics (Mark) and had the peg in the back break, called them up and told them the problem, and they sent me out a replacement and return label a few days later without me having to return it first. Now that's service!
If you have a problem with something that you order from one of the dealers mentioned, give them a call or email and they can help.
But I don't think they'll replace specific broken items like a blaster, but will most likely replace the whole figure.
Oh, and the wrist on mine is fine.

What's breaking on the blaster? The only problem I'm having is getting the holster thingie to stay down. I can't seem to find the magnet.

The blasters have a slight bend to them. Mine has it but it's not that big a deal. For the magnet in the holster, just make sure the blaster is in snugly and the strap should go right the holster.

The end of the blaster for my Luke was bent, too, and it took just a little pressure to break it (thinking I could straighten it).

I used it on mine with no adverse affects. Still a little bent but not bad. Also mine popped right outta the tray with no breakage.
