Thanks Khev, I like your gun slinger shots, I can't do too many of those poses with my loose wrist joint, but he does ok. Scale of figures doesn't bother me too much unless it's a dramatic difference. Boba and Luke just look like too really nicely made figures together, my attention isn't drawn to their height, and I've always thought Boba was on the smaller side anyway compared to the other characters in the film.

I was looking at Michael Crawford's picture of Luke from SDCC, and in my opinion, the production paint apps on this figure are much better than the prototype, which is nice to see happen. The proto didn't really look like Hammil, paint wise anyway, but the production paint really captures him, so kudos to SSC for improving that. Granted, I still feel the eye paint isn't their best, the overall head looks great, and it looks like Mark, better to have so-so eyes and a great overall than great eyes and a so-so overall.

Got mine yesterday and I love it. He has the loose wrist joint and ultra tight right elbow but overall this is one of my favorites. I thought I'd want to do an immediate repaint but the paint apps are actually really nice.

Just got my Luke!! Looks great overall. The eyes and hair need some work. Sadly, the gun broke in half as I was trying to pull it out of the package. Looks like several of us are having that same problem. Still, I've pretty happy with this figure. Bring on Ben already!!!!!

I got my regular edition Luke yesterday. BOTH of them have the limp wrist issue on the right wrist. Does anyone know a fix for that?

I am planning to heat the wrist and pinch it closed with a needlenose plies and cloth (to protect the figure from marks).

actualy fixing a limp wrist is easy. just put some super glue over the joint, and move the wrist constantly till it dries. the glue will make the joint tighter, and fix the problem.

For those that have a broken blaster, contact Sideshow if you ordered it through them. They sent me a replacment free of charge! Sideshow Customer Service kicks ass! :rock :rock

They should replace it even if you didn't buy the figure direct from them. It's still their product.

It is, but who's to say the dealer didn't do somethign to it before it got to you, especially now with a tapeless package. If it's from them, they know it came out of the factory and is truly a defect.

Well, if they're going to penalize their customers for not buying directly from them, then they shouldn't sell through other retailers.

Exactly. Plus thats part of the incentive to order it direct. They can't guarantee something that is shipped by someone else. Thats crazy talk. :google

True and if they're getting numerous calls on a certain part. (aka broken blaster) it doesn't take a rocket scientist to know theres a problem and to just send a blaster out.

I think SS would send one out to someone anyways even if they didn't buy directly from them although i can't be sure.

Yeah, there's no guarantee it wasn't mucked with before. Getting those that don't get it to get it though just ain't gonna happen. :lol

I get it. Order from us or you're sol.

If they can only support the customers who order directly from them, then they should only sell direct.

Yup, my gun broke also....right out of the package. I super glued it, but sent them an email immediately about it. Hopefully they will take care of it.

That really is ludicrous. You should have the buyer wherewithal to get a piece from a reputable dealer (like Bob or Adam or Marc or any number of sellers) who, should need arise, can help you out. There is nothing stopping you from going to the dealer who should in turn be able to go to Sideshow.

If the dealer refuses to do that, you just learned to never buy from them again. :lecture

All those great pictures made me bummed I canceled but all then the joint and blaster problems talk make me think its not so bad that I passed.
