Got mine today...quick shot before work:

A few minor nits:
Got the same loose wrist as everyone else...his boots don't match...one is completely painted while the other just has a wash...first ******ed up box I've gotten in a while (despite the sty-caps)...bent gun barrel (cured w/hair dryer)...

Otherwise....he looks good. I'll get some more shots to share later.

Bent holster and wrist seems to be the main minor problems so far(seen a few with the boots not matching).As long as mine comes without his ass showing like in that one pic i'll be happy.

Well, I had to order this one after seeing all the great pics of it. I wasn't impressed at first, but now I am and it should be here in a few days.

Mine has the bent blaster muzzle as well as the glossy hair but that's about it for the negatives on mine. I got lucky with the wrist and it's holding up fine so far.

Nice image JB, what are you doing for the floor/lighting for the Bespin look. Also, I suggest you take off his tank top, it makes him look so much better with the collar up on the jacket.

The tank top is so thin, (unlike something from Hasbro) I find it hard to believe it makes that much difference. Are you sure any improvement you see isn't from simply redressing or futzing with the jacket regardless of the undershirt?

I futzed it, and couldn't get the right look. I'm not even sure if it's the overall tank, probably just the seam, that's pretty thick, the collar area just doesn't sit right with it on. Even pixletwin agreed and did the same with his after playing with it a bit.

Ok that makes a lot of sense in the collar area near the seam, I was thinking the upper shoulder wouldn't see much change. Hmm. Will probably try it, though I do like seeing the undershirt through the open collar.

I too am greatly interested in knowing what obi-bear is using for the floor.

It's all a matter of preference, I just like it better having the jacket snug up to his neck like in the film.

Major problem with mione is the "meatspin" effect on his upper right forarm.
Bought a replacemnt body from toyanxiety though

I took an antique floor grate(hey, I collect all kinds of **** ), placed a red light beneath it and viola'! Carbon Freeze Chamber...
I'm gonna revisit that idea though and try some different lighting to hightlight the face better...

Meanwhile, I did snag a couple of outdoor shots on the way to work (before our major downpours started)...

Luke encounters Yoda...

Luke receives consul from the wise old master...

I gotta admit, I wasn't "wow'd" by this figure when I took it out of the box initially...but I took it to work and had it on my desk and the more I looked at it and tried some different poses with it, well...the "wow" is there. The outfit is good and the sculpt is pretty amazing. It's another one that can convey different emotion and intensity depending on the lighting conditions.

I hope with Leia fast on the horizon that folks don't forget him and keep postin' images of this great figure...I know I will ...

Nice stuff JB, the portion of the tree in the second picture really feels like Dagobah. I was a bit like you. When I first got it, I thought Luke was a good figure, but the more time I spend with him, the more he grows on me, the outfit, sculpt, everything.

I'm sure we all had that one figure we dreamed of seeing back when SS first revealed 1/6 Jedi Luke; Vader, Fett, Clones, Palpatine, etc. Mine was Bespin Luke. I really didn't expect to see him for another 1-2 years at the earliest, so to have him now, and executed so fantastically is a real thrill. Obviously my pics can't compare to the best in this thread but here he is on display at the Khev residence:

Thanks OSCORP. Maulfan this shot is fantastic. I'm going to wait for SS's Fett but if theirs isn't as nice as this one then I'll track down a Medicom. They really look great together (even if Fett should technically be Han's height ).
