That's exactly what I was going to say. It's amazing how the first POTF2 Emperor is STILL the best version they've done to date. In 10 years, the first one is still the best. I can't understand Hasbro's insistence on soft goods. I don't collect them anymore, but I think the only soft goods figure I ever purchased was the VOTC Vader. . . and one of those Jabba's Palace Lukes, but I never put the cloak on him, cuz it looked stupid.

Soft goods are generally figure-ruiners, to be sure. I hope that Hasbro will eventually give us a soft good free Emperor on par with the POTF2 version.
