Vader's height has never bugged me. Don't understand people's emphasis on it at all...

Better a little to tall than looking like a little kid.

Per the chair height: MaulFaun or Justin... Time to fireup photo shop and post side by side comparisons.

We are about 15 min late for fan corrected photochops.

Here's the dilemma:

If you want to use the awesome face (gritted) but you want him sitting on his throne... it's gonna look like he's straining to take a dump.

Yes it will. Otherwise it wouldn't be an exclusive. It would be a variant.

Figure looks good to me. I was hoping we might get an evil smiling sculpt, but that is why I am proponent for Sideshow releasing head packs (of various past released characters with new expressions), like a four pack for $100.

I guess the throne does look a little small.. but that maybe because the SS Palps' hood is flared. Either way, it don't bug me.

My trouble is they both look superb!! The reg is the classic close-up face.

Not so sure the throne is really too small. Looking at the scene right before luke takes his saber back and the fight starts.. for a minute, you can see vader behind the chair, and luke by the window. Luke is still a decent amount taller than the chair, and vader towers over the chair. it looks like it ends near his chest box.

idunno. hard one to judge without a really good set of pics..
