Once you get 1/4 scale pieces in your collection, you will know what we are talking about. i have a few 1/5 and I like them but they just aren't as impressive. the 1/4 scale definitely makes a difference...esp for larger characters. i'm not buying anything smaller than 1/4 anymore unless it is something i absolutely have to have.

So are all SS pieces 1/4. I thought PF's were 1/4 only. Are comiquettes also 1/4 for some reason I thought they were 1/5? New to the hobby myself so just wondering. Thanks.

I have nothing against 1:5 BUT I still haven't received a PF.... so I might change my tune in the future.

To get ready for the new Bats film I watched Begins and Dark Knight last night. I must have thought "I can't wait for the SS piece" about a million times during that time.

I wish I had the time to go back and watch both those films first but it's gonna be hard to get to TDKR. My wife and I just had our second child last Thursday so busy times. Hopefully I don't have to wait long and I am sure I'll be thinking about this PF throughout as well.

so you want to have your first line of PF's around the Batman series........and youre wondering about ordering BATMAN....

I ordered the ivy and joker pf with the expectation they'd knock bats out the park with a crazy sculpt. Not saying I really dislike the bat, but at 400 a pece you have to more than not dislike it...you have to really like it. That being said, I'll probably end up getting him to complete my circle.

Dude, my 2nd is 5 months old and I never realized how much work it would be. Just prepare yourself for Zero sleep. That is of you have two close together.

They are close King. My firsts will be 2 next month. Yeah I am expecting sleep to be at a primium that's for sure. So far been a good sleeper and my first child sleeps through the night so fingers crossed this new one will to.

Nah, not that big a deal. But to many 1/5 is the red headed step child for some reason. 1/4 just looks better to me and any 1/5 scale items I ever had we're surrendered to a far better looking Sideshow 1/4 piece. Not to say there aren't some amazing 1/5th items out there.

Someone standing erect 1/4 scale is just too large for me. A 6 foot man 1/4 scale is 1 foot 6 inches tall and thats if he not holding anything above his head or standing on anything. 1 foot 2.5 inches for a 6 foot man 1/5 scale seems a bit nicer to me. 1 foot 2.5 inches from head to toe not including base and things above the guys head. I cannot write very well on my iPhone so I'm cutting this short. I do however like big statues, screw 1/6 scale HT and other smaller statues. I just don't want a 2 foot statue. There's a limit for me. Limit probably is i don't want a statue so damn big it takes up all of my shelves. I have freakin limited space and they keep releasing good ____!!! Would I rather have 3 1/5th scale statues or 1 1/4 scale 2 foot plus Batman? I'm sticking with my punisher comiquette, diablo overthrown, and Arthas than 1 batman

I collect 1/5 and 1/4. Just appreciate a good sculpt. I do think 1/4 is more epic but either way, cant wait to get the Bat, I think they did great on this.
