I collect 1/5 and 1/4. Just appreciate a good sculpt. I do think 1/4 is more epic but either way, cant wait to get the Bat, I think they did great on this.

Chunk, hearing on the space issue man. 1/5 is better for that. With my 1/4 th though I Would just rotate them in and out of storage to keep things fresh. That's what I plan to do anyway. I will have room for two bestas in my house so I plan to put something different I have in there every 6 months or something like that. But don't get me wrong or please don't take my post the wrong way. I have complete respect for 1/5 of something is done right.

Yea I dont understand the 1/5th hate either. I personally dont love mixed media. after time it will deteriorate. Dont get me wrong I love some PFs But i would rather fully sculpted in most cases. And its also a space issue for people.

Deterioration will take a long long time my friend if maintained properly.

Hello all, i just joined today and wanted to say thank you to everyone posting pictures and info. I'm brand new to statues and decided it was the perfect time to get into it with this upcoming DC Line. I PO Reg Joker, Ex Ivy and Bats. I'm also really liking the classic Mortal Kombat stuff from pop culture. Have no idea how i'm going to afford all of this but i'll have to find away, all this stuff looks amazing!

Yeah I don't get it either, if you're not into a piece then don't purchase - simple as that. I don't post in threads about pieces I'm not into, people who dig it can have a good time in there, I dunno why people go out of their way to bag out pieces but wotevs Trolls be loving the internet. My buddy Han Trollo often posts in threads for statues he hates;

I wouldn't worry about the materials deteriorating mate, not in your lifetime anyway

Yeah welcome. I just joined about a month ago myself as I just got into the hobby myself. Also ordered Batman PF as well. This is a great place to get info and meet like mind people who have been nothing but helpful and friendly. Enjoy.

I used to be a big Bowen and Hot Toys fan, once I went 1/4 I never looked back.

Oh I'm getting on it with a bang. I had POed Jessica Rabbit which I should get soon and thought it was going to be my only one or maybe more Disney....
But now with DC I'm POed Joker, Ivy and WL Batman..... I'll probably get Superman and I really want Master Chief as well..

So are all SS pieces 1/4. I thought PF's were 1/4 only. Are comiquettes also 1/4 for some reason I thought they were 1/5? New to the hobby myself so just wondering. Thanks.

From what I can remember, PFs were and are 1/4 scale statues and had mixed media but I think today the definition of PFs have been rewritten to only include any statue that is 1/4 scale with or without mixed media. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

So you will find several comiquettes released years before such the Iron Spiderman Comiquette that is not a PF but is 1/4 scale.
