Okay... Can I ask... What does "processing" mean... Never been on the ground floor of a piece I wanted...

Mines said processing since the minute I ordered it way back in June or when ever it was released. So who knows when it will be out but hopefully soon.

Oh Arctic you missed out on that day!? Twas a sad day that is for sure.
I remember it well (fades into mind bubble as I rub chin staring out window into unending blue sky):

It was a sunny day here with threatening clouds looming in the distance. I looked and thought to myself that seems rather odd??!? I went inside put on my comfy pants and sat down at my desk. As I switched on the computer I felt a cold shudder run down my spine in unison with a massive flash of lightning and crack of thunder. I thought I should turn off the computer but something drove me on that fateful day that turned into night. I logged into the freaks but the boards seemed eerily quiet, WHAT THE HELL WAS GOING ON?!?.........

In the corner of the screen I noticed I had been PM'd

With great urgency I clicked the left mouse button a couple of times

It was Spidey!

He had found an EX .....

... You forgot my excited jumping ... And the fact that I found it in the foresale section literally 10 min or less after our fellow Freak had put it up. How many near hits did I have before that 2 or 3 ... Lol.

Seems to have gone all quiet on that front these days. I guess we'll have a few more closer to release.

LOL yeah... Especially since I wasn't on it ...lol. I missed out n it that say that the 15 spots came up on it ... Even though you tried to help me... And then missed out n another even though Kinger tried.... And in the end it was luck ... So yeah so nice not to worry.

There are several candidates for statue o the year depending on preference.

So far:

Storm is turning out great, sleeper hit
Hulk Maquette (I don't care but everyone seems too)

coming out we have
Galactus
C-3PO & R2
Ringwraith on Steed
Sauron
Rhino
Batman
Arthas
Master Chief
Obi-Wan Mythos

you might even add Shaak Ti and Lady Death to the list.

And that's just off the top of my head.

Yes...Galactus looks awesome. I've had that on PO since day 1. I think it'll come down to Hulk vs Batman vs Galactus. I'm more of a comic book guy, but Sauron looks pretty cool, too, so that might get in the conversation.

I must admit I keep thinking about getting Galactus. I want to concentrate on just the goodies in the Marvel & DC world but I'm really tempted. Especially at the price he's going for. He's a bargain compared to all the other LSF. I know he's a maquette but he's just as big

Hey Arctic! Nah dude nothing new since Bats. I can only get one or two a year without getting kicked out. But I am eyeing Supes and Wonder Woman. In saying that though I am going to try and save up some $$$$ to get that Hulk maq. I will be interesting to see if I can part with the dollars though.

How about you man? What's new in the statue's world?

Aww yeah, Galactus is going to be great, I just know it! I've already reserved a spot on a shelf right in front of my framed FF # 48 cover print.

By goodies, do you mean you only collect heroes, or only the mainstream characters (i.e. the "good" ones)? Just curious.

I like to have my fav heroes and their arch enemy (if one is available). I've got the Silver Surfer, so I need Galactus (Thanos is standing in as my SS enemy for now). Plus, I am a big fan of the first ever Galactus storyline from FF # 48 to 50 (I actually own #48 in CGC 9.0...one of the only non Spider-Man vintage issues in my collection).

But damn if Galactus doesn't justify it!

Yes sorry bit of a childish way of explaining it that's because the only person I talk about Superheroes with is my 3 year old son but yeah I'm only collecting Superheroes at the moment. Not that I don't want them, I actually love villains. I'm playing catch up at the moment though & I'm trying to get all my favourite hero characters 1st. I will definitely go back though, just not at this moment of time.

Well, technically Galactus is much smaller than 1:4 (just look how tiny the Silver Surfer is), so...no reason not to get it
