Amazing! I'm sort of getting there too. I will keep a few PFs like my four Uni Monsters and Supes and WW and then I'm done. My last QC issue with Freddy's PF was sort of the final straw for me and nothing has excited me lately from Sideshow. The ONLY thing that would make me buy another piece is a Myers PF. Just don't have the space but I admire people like Statue Hunter and Big Silva that buy more and have the room for it. To each their own.

If you have a Captain America PF in the bunch that you want to sell let me know been looking for one and seem to keep missing them on the sale treads.

Same. I sold most of my collection. Even things I thought I would never sell, such as the Pred Maquette. But it wasns't that hard. It was great putting money back in the bank, and I don't miss it that much. Eventually you see this hobby for what it is. Just statues. Lots and lots of money and space, on just statues of things.
And I just don't need 50 of them, because it's cool or I need a full set.

I've dwindled my collection down to like 6 PF's, from like around 35-40!!
Small collection of really cool thing around the home theatre is good for me. Such as my chrome ENDO SKULL bust.

LOL!! Look at all the great minds... LOL!! I use to have a ton more stuff also. Lots of smaller high end items for my smaller shelves. Many more PFs and Comiquettes.. It's just so easy to get carried away. All the stuff looks so great. But as Sithlord1975 said it's just statues, lots of money, and space.

I wanted to get my collection down to pieces that I will never want to sell or be tempted to sell. Statues that I can always looks at and have them still feel fresh. The only way to do that I have found is to have a true love for the character and the universe they come from.

It is Awesome to see people who have massive collections. I love looking at the photos and would love to visit those places so I could see those great collections first hand. But that is not for me.

Shortly after I decided to do this there was a show on TV, I can't remember the name now, but this lady went to people who were obsessive collectors and she talked about streamlining and got some of them to sell off many of their items. Great show with some great collections but it only lasted like six episodes. I want to say it was on the Sci Fi channel. Anyways I thought that was cool and I think it's cool to see so many fellow freaks thinking the same way.

It's funny. Shortly after I decided to do this there was a show on TV, I can't remember the name now, but this lady went to people who were obsessive collectors and she talked about streamlining and got some of them to sell off many of their items. Great show with some great collections but it only lasted like six episodes. I want to say it was on the Sci Fi channel. Anyways I thought that was cool and I think it's cool to see so many fellow freaks thinking the same way.

That was Collection Intervention and it was on the Syfy channel. I heard a lot of it was staged. It would have been great if they just showcased nice collections but they wanted drama.

I don't know if it was staged or not but I have seen a collection or two here on the boards that would benifit from some helpful advice

Oh so about that BATMAN!!!!

Ya know. I have not been this worried about a SS product ever. I want to love it. I really want to love it but I am afraid that some of the small things that bug me will ruin it for me. Most of issues have to do with the overall pose (which I have stated before) but the Cape flowing off his right shoulder just does not flow right IMO. I know he is up on a building with wind but it just does not look natural.

In fact everything about the pose and the cape seem like the original idea might have been that Bats would have his right arm raised ready to throw the batarang. It sould exlain the slight twist to his legs and not just have a "I have to go potty" stance.

The photos at SDCC have layed many of my fears to rest but like Superman I have waited a long time for a great batman statue.

Two heads - One Pose.

Yes. Both the REG & EX have 2 portraits. The EX has a batarang as well. That is the only difference between the REG & EX besides the edition size.
