Matt, slightly damaged boxes are an unavoidable reality with these things.

Yeah can't be helped. I've been ordering packouts for an extra 10 bucks to try reduce it. Gotta get those 9.8's! :lol

Re: Official Sideshow Batman PF

A flash was clearly used and pointed directly at the statue which has washed it out. The pictures are about as bad as it gets... any statue would look bad.

where exactly do you point the flash when you take a picture? And if the flash is pointing somewhere else, won't the lens be pointing there as well? :dunno

In a professional lighting setup, you can have the flash not bounce off the object and instead bounce off the walls. It makes for a a better subject and gets rid of subject hotspots.

Or if you have a decent camera with some natural lighting, you can take a picture without the flash and the subject will look better.

I'm fairly sure he means that the statue should be in better overall lighting and then there would be no need for a flash. I never use flash with the pics I take. It washes everything out.

Beginning to wonder why Sideshow didn't opt for the mixed media cape with wires inside so you could futz it which way you liked, like with their Reeve Superman PF

I'm glad they didn't use wires. I'm always afraid that they'll eventually poke out and through the cloth.

Re: Official Sideshow Batman PF

This is what he will look like in person, trust me on this one guys. The con pic is a production piece, first pics are off due to lighting and possibly the camera that was being used is emphasizing the blue hues, it WILL NOT look like that in person.

OMG. No wires please. The cape is the best looking thing so far.
