You could try the Viper Scar. It's got enough ammo to fill out the vest, and it's closer to the color of the original figure.

Or just find a Car Shortie or M4 Commando and some mags to do the trick. Beachheads seems like the kind of guy who likes to get up close and personal. And the mags'll fit in the vest anyway. :huh

So Beachhead is the last Joe I need to be all caught up on this amazing line. There's very few that come up on eBay that are unopened with reasonable starting bids. There's 3 I've been watching all week that all just so happened to end today. Here's what they went for approx.

Non Elite $218
Elite #1 $256
Elite #2. $264

I'm tapped out at the moment as I've picked up both Elite SE and the CCC in the past few days. But wow ! Amazing what Beachhead is going for !

I so agree that it's well done !! Beachhead is my favorite SS Joe so far , worth Ebays prices. Personally I would by pass the exclusive I have it -the sculpt is butt ugly and I display him without it ! Good luck !

I actually don't remember if I had Beachhead or not. Just checked my archives and found that the original figure did indeed have the beret in the exact same place.

Just wanted to find out if anyone knows if there is a real world version of Beachhead's knife. And if so, who is the maker and what is the name of the knife?

I posted it here earlier in this thread, it's a Tops Knives Anaconda 7B:

There was some question as to what knife Beach comes with some pages back, I'm pretty sure it's a TOPS Knives Anaconda 7B:

But I've had no luck figuring out what type of grenades the Joes come with. They're very similar to the M67 grenade, but the Joe version is less spherical and has a concave groove around the ball, I've yet to find a picture of a M67 or any other type that looks like this.
Which leads me to believe that the Joe grenade is a fictional version of the M67.

Sideshow Q, could you clear this up?
