There was some interest in the DID Henri black buckle top boots as replacements for Sideshow's unposeable crap boots.
I ordered a pair a last week for my Steel Brigade figure but decided to try them on Beach.
They turned out really nice, not oversized and the eyelets aren't pulling out like other cheaper cloth boots. The fit is great and the weathering not overdone.
I think I'm going to order another pair and keep these on Beach!

Looks really good. What do you have to do to get those on the sideshow body ? Do you buy feet and put those on first ?

Very cool but you must know that second pic looks like he's really trying to force one out. ;)

:lol Yeah, thought the same thing, but those damn ratchet knees were driving me nuts so I just went with it.
Edit: Just took a better one:

Be forewarned, the f$#@ sideshow boots are a b-tch to separate from the ankle ball joint! What you need to do is place the SS boots in very hot water and let them get as soft as possible before removing the ball from the socket in the boots.
I had an extra pair of True Type feet that I just stuck on the Sideshow ankle ball joints. Only a few of SS Prometheus bodies came with actual feet, Cobra Commander, Star Wars Admiral Piett & I believe Praji. But Hot Toys True Type feet work fine.

old sideshow Buck beet also work just fine, if you have any sideshow bucks sitting around, just boil and pop to get the feet off the body. the plug on the ankle joint is almost identical to the plug on the pro ankle joint.

The only issue here is it won't sit perfectly flush. it will attach and go in just fine, but it will make your figure SLIGHTLY taller. in many cases, this is a good thing.

I found myself obsessed with getting an exclusive BH, being a late comer, Ebay was my only choice. After I gave up on finding an EX and buying a regular version, I lucked out and picked up the EX portrait and beret from a fellow member. Of course after I bought all this, 2 came of for sale within a week here and on Ebay! Anyway I realized that I needed to get this portrait out on display so I used some spare parts, a second set of pants and a SOAR fleece. I wanted another BH sweater but couldn't find one, and of course 2 weeks after I sprang for the fleece, a BH sweater came up for sale!

Not bad for $20 and my son likes the Marine that came with the bike.
