The quality of the weapons are getting worst for each release.

What are you talking about? SE's Uzi was awesome. All the Cobra AKs are awesome. Duke's M4... awesome. Flint's shotguns are equally awesome. If there's one thing Sideshow does exceptionally well, it's weapons. What are you comparing them to? :huh

I got Flint today too. He is great, but dang that shotgun shell bandolier sucks. Doesn't want to lay flat and look right. They really shouldn't have made it moveable. It needed to be locked into place, or at least have those clear tab things that can keep it in a desired spot. But other than that, he is great. The hair is indeed that bad, but thankfully he has the beret. He wouldn't look right without the beret anyway.

The pump for the shotgun broke once I fit it into Flint's hands. I might be the only one with this issue i guess.

Nothing major, just slight flaws on mine I suppose.

Opened mine, but my blackberry hasnt sent my photo yet, I know, Newb

Anyway Flint is awesome, and a great addition to the duo so far, my only gripe is the like everyone else that ____in bandolier is ____, one of my openings broke so one shell sits on the other.

Good job SS, now move your ass and release something else

I displayed mine with the vintage shotty

Hit the fabric with a blow dryer. It'll lay down after a spell.

It seemed pretty sturdy when I posed him with it and wouldn't break without a pretty substantial amount of force. You might've gotten a bad one. I'd contact Sideshow's CS and see if they'll send you a replacement.

Sweet cardart shot! :rock2 He looks really good and I like the mods you did. These figures are great for adding your own personal touches and stuff.

If you want more '85 goodness swap the eagle buckle with the primary belt buckle and put this one on the secondary belt. :duff

THANK YOU EF, great shots and mods! Mando nailed the other buckle that the one I used on my custom Flint. Flint drops FRIDAY!

Seems like there is no consensus on this figure. Some say bad quality, others love it. Can't wait to have it in hand to judge for myself.

Seems like everyone who gets him in-hand likes him. We just all got poopy pants over the first pics. It's kind of a Freaks tradition. :panic:

Part of what makes his head look funny is the shape of his skull. It's flat on top to fit the beret. Without the beret, the length of his face makes makes you extremely aware that it's disproportionate. Add the Herman Munster hair and the expression on his face, and the effect is rough.

But with the beret on, the proportions are fine. If his paint is atleast equal to Duke's, I don't see an issue. It will be cool to one day get some master repaints, but yeah, in hand trumps first pic hysteria, once again.

The head skin tone is much better than Dukes who has a bit of a pinkness to him.

And yea, with the beret on, as the only way he should be displayed, the sculpt looks fine.
