I had this preordered, but am on the fence now.

Firefly blew me away and is easily my fav Joe/Cobra figure now. Having just spent the $$ for 2 FF's, I just don't feel so eager to spend the $$ on a Flint after seeing some of these in-hand pics, even being that he's one of my fav Joes.

Yet, I have no doubts about Beach Head. The masked sculpts look so much better and are an easy win for SS.

SE, SS, CC, FF and the Cobra Troops = masked win.

Flint & Duke....not as much. Not saying they aren't nice products..just not feeling the "gotta have 'em now" rush I usually get.

Actually, while the belt buckle to me is a non-issue as is the head with the beret on, I have a gripe about Flint. Sideshow needs to seriously toss out their ____ing pants pattern and start from scratch. It was a non-issue for Snake Eyes, and sorta bad for Duke, but Flint looks like he borrowed his little brother's pants. Standard Issue BDUs aren't highwater unless you're Motumbo or Ming or some ____. Sideshow needs to realize this and make them a bit longer so that the figures have a decent blouse at the top of the boot when standing and can still have their leg covered when they take a knee.

^^ Good example of "tittybaby" whining. Be careful kids, you don't want to be a Mr. Nammie Negativity.

:lecture
They should be the length of the Cobra Trooper pants. Or make the boots a bit higher.

Won't get Flint until tomorrow, but the length of the pants does seem a tad short. That's the one thing that bothered me about an otherwise phenomenal Dutch figure.

Just opened mine.

Quick, initial thoughts:

It's a cool figure, just not $125 cool.

Weapons/accessories are awesome. Belt is funky, though, with the weird buckle and molded/painted bullets. Definitely a step down in quality there.

Paint apps not quite as bad as feared, but still a fail. Especially the hair.

I like the beret a lot more than I thought I would. It looks great and sits on the head perfectly.

Pants seem a bit too short (as others have already noted).

Overall, I think I actually like this better than Duke (because Flint's headgear is a must, which hides the bad hair).

Bring on Beachhead :rock (but don't screw up the paint!)

Flint looks like this actor, Everett McGill

Heres a quick pic with the Joe crew.

Fell a little underwhelmed with Flint. Maybe the lack of accessories or something, not sure what :dunno....Still a solid figure and looks great with the other Joes :rock
