Got my second replacement Hawk head today.

I'm starting to wonder whether the rough brown paper they are shipping these in is rubbing the paint off in transit. I can't imagine anyone would send a head like this out as a replacement :lol

I haven't had the best experience with the returns department as of late. Here was my replacement Superman that they sent me.

Mine were wrapped in bubble wrap.

WTF! Mine have just been wrapped in that brown paper! :slap

:mwaha :mwaha :mwaha :mwaha @ Buttmunch. You forgot the rubs on the left ear too. Glad I just kept mine with the paint rubs on the back of the head. :lol

Lucikly, I haven't had to send any back. They wanted me to destroy the damaged head they sent me if this was fine, but since it wasn't I don't know whats going to happen next :lol

Tell me about it, a CS rep and I have been going back and forth over what my options are, apparently SSC only allows one replacement? News to me. Also I may lose 30 dolla in rewards points...awesome.

I haven't heard that thing about only allowing for one replacement before, but I haven't had to send more than one before.

Mine is missing one of the plugs that goes into the upper thigh of the body, but I feel like I did pretty well compared to that.

That's pretty bad with Hawk too. I wonder if all that was done during transit or if the head was sort of messed up to begin with.

Yeah, I figured as much. The CS rep was/is nice but doesn't seem to know what to do. I'm not too concerned as long as they take care of it.

The best part was, the problem was the suit! I told the CS rep that the whole thing was sheet and he wanted me to take pics of all of the problems because of QC issues with the replacement/shipping department. :lol

How does limiting you to a single replacement fix their issue? :lol Sounds like you got a newb. Might wanna see if Mike can help you out.

Yikes @ Superman replacement. And even more yikes at the 1 per BS. That's a sound way to lose customers.

New policy?
"We don't care if you feel satisfied. We only give you one attempt at trying to be!!"

Well, I'm not trying to stir up ____. I stand by my man SSC, they have never let me down. Just a funny situation, no need to get the pitchforks. :lol

And in their defense with Superman they are only distributors ...I suppose ...so perhaps strict measures are needed with flawed Hot Toys products.

I don't see that as being fair either. Its your fault if your sent not one but two defective or damaged items? That doesn't seem fair. I'm not saying you are entitled to endless amounts of replacements, but thats not even a minor scratch or something easily repaired. Thats a Battle Damaged Superman! :lol

That might be the bottom of the batch though. It's not like they can call up the factory and order replacements, either. Honestly, I think Deak just got a newb in the CS. They'll set him straight.

That Superman is a joke. Really bad. They should have more allowance on the replacement in this case.

In defense of SSC though, I understand the limit to replacing things. Some collectors are WAY too picky about things and all of the constant exchanges SSC has to eat on shipping and spend more on service etc gets passed to their customers. That stealth iron man thing for example was a fiasco and they should have just told people, "take it, as is, or leave it".
