They only had ONE new thing to get right with this release - the jacket - and they ****ed it up.

At that price it would be cheaper to get a custom jacket to complete my DX07/ X-wing Luke parts Snowspeeder Luke custom.

I think the coat looks pretty good. I also think they've done a decent job on this figure. Looking forward to getting it in hand. I'm sure it will be able to be futzed to look great.

The email that me and others who posted as well received last week, said next Tuesday May 23 is when it will start charging and shipping.

I am totally appreciative of the posted photos but why is it the first shots of a released figure are the worst? The same pose as SW Celebration and four photos that are essentially the same. Why will NO one show the second head sculpt and the helmet off? I can't waits till some Freaks get their "oversized" mitts on this and post some proper pics!

Could just be the positioning and photograph, but the sleeves look a touch baggy there. Have to wait for more in-hand shots, but it does seem the tailoring on the proto was tighter.

The jacket sleeve bagginess has been on all of the latest photos. Really annoying.

Figure is ok but the more I look at it, the more I want to pass on it.

I hadn't really noticed the bagginess, but I assumed that would be a problem. But with water treatment and proper futzing (placement) I doubt that's a big deal.

Sideshow is not renowned for its excellently tailored clothing.

The problem with this figure is the price. Some things could be overlooked if it was like $200 or even $220 but at $270, no thanks.

Just keep looking at the photos/price and it should not be too hard to convince yourself to pass. Plus at this time I think I would rather put that money towards the dx15 that was announced and still save some money over spending $270 on this guy.

Not tempting enough, especially for the price. I don't think it's terrible, but I just don't see the value-for-money, and feel that SCC are just too far behind the state-of-the-art, generally speaking.

I think it can be made to display well, and any of its shortcomings on their own may be relatively minor, but it's not quite adding up for me.

Yet I can't stay out of this thread because I'm curious as hell about it.

It still looks good so far, not $290 ($18 shipping) good but for the $144 I'm paying for it shipped, I'll be happy.

Yeah my thoughts exactly. This just reminds me too much of their Hoth Han and Luke, which weren't terrible figures but still lacked the high quality and amazing detail that you get in a HT figure, and that makes you want to stare at them in awe on the shelf.

Much as I love the Snowspeeder outfit, this figure just doesn't inspire that feeling in me at all.

Yep. At this point I would rather buy the new ucs lego snowspeeder over this figure to satisfy my "snowspeeder" needs.
