Okay, I kinda love the Mohawk Stormy but this pose looks like she just stepped on an ant.

They coulda used a JRJR mohawk storm! instead of the Jelena Djurdjevic

Don't push it. :thwak:p

:lol :monkey3 :lol

Thats cool. A few years back I got him to sign a copy of a Spidey comic. He was really really nice and took time to talk with each one of us that walked by.

That's what I remember about him as well...extremely fan friendly. Best comic related experience I ever had! :lecture

Agreed! I will say the autos I've gone for at Comic-Con those folks have all been really really nice.

I don't think I've ever had a bad autograph experience from a writer or artist.

I remember waiting to get a John Romita Jr. autograph at a store called Comic Unlimited and one of the store clerks told me I couldn't have my poster I brought signed...only comics.

John overheard this and said to the clerk "He waited in line, in the heat...so I'll sign anything he or anyone else brought."

He signed my poster and chatted with me for a moment!

:yess: :rock :rock

I had a bad experience with Arthur Suydam at a Wizard World. He basically only wanted to sign books bought at the event and then he knew someone in line and spent a good ten to fifteen just chatting with them. Everyone was getting a little ancy since they all just bought the books cash and he basically said a few choice words and left. Maybe only signed 5 peoples stuff. Not like it was that crowded. Ill never forget it.

Nice thats freaking awesome :rock

It was indeed! :rock

I had a bad experience with Suydam too, and since then refused to buy any books with his art or any variant cover with his art. I understand it's a business and we are all in it to make money, but he basically forced me to purchase a $20 photocopy print otherwise he would only sign one of the three books I asked signed. Even though I had spent over $100 bucks on those damn variant covers already. Lesson learned after selling those books is that signatures ain't worth diddly squat!

He sounds like a horrid money grabbing idiot.

Pictures are up on sideshow website

Man you're on it. Looks just like the coimc cover that was posted on this thread...that pose does nothing for me unfortunately. I actually didn't mind the Mohawk so much because I kinda dug the punk style. But I can't make out what she is supposed to be doing in this piece. Doesn't seem like she is about to attack or brace herself for an attack...she looks more like she's trying to sneak walk.

When you think of storm you think of this powerful mutant who controls lighting, this one seems like a punk girl who just got caught stepping on a ant! Storm commiquette = LAME!

:lol

I know right. I want to REALLY REALLY REALLY want to like it because I find Storm to be just as you said Smooth, a powerful character with the ability to control weather and basically mess folks up. This pose just doesn't show any of that. If anything IMO she looks timid and like someone who just left a Good Charlotte concert... :panic:

( side note...no disrespect meant to anyone who likes Good Charlotte :) )

Gotta say, the pics reveal make the piece love much, much better than the preview poster. Even so, and even @ $200, I still may not P.O. this one. Certainly not the EX as that's just a comic cover imo.

Don't get me wrong, it's still a nice sculpt IMO. I don't think folks that get this one would go wrong. Sikashi, I don't think I'll be one of them :monkey3

Even if it were 1/4, which it isn't, my sentiments would hardly change.
